The December and January appends for PRETTY×CATION2 are available for download.
A few surprising results came out of recent chara polls, with Rinko topping the Cocoro Rista! vote (despite being a subchara), and the store employee winning the Seiiki series subheroine poll (despite not having a tachi-e). In a more expected result, Saya took first in the Yozora chara poll. It wasn’t even close. The Tayutama2 chara poll is underway and runs until January 31st.
Volume 4 of PRETTY×CATION‘s raburabu birthday series (Suzuka) will be on shelves on March 18th.
The Konosora Cruise Sign PSV port has been set for a March 31st release.
Kaga Create, the company that brought us PSV titles Higurashi Sui, Saki -Zenkokuban- and Majokoi Dragon×Caravan, has disbanded as of December 31st, citing difficulties in today’s mobile game-centric environment. It seems that all other fields are suffering from the same dilemma.
New figures recently available for pre-order include:
FREEing – 1/12 scale Super Sonico swimsuit ver. (Super Sonico, May, ¥2759)
Kotobukiya – 1/7 scale Katia (Schwarzemarken, June, ¥8800)
Phat! – Dekachu Ranko (Deremas, July, ¥6481)
Dakimakuras are coming out for Tsuushinbo‘s Emi, Nonoka and Kotone, Panicon‘s Nanaho, Yozora‘s Hikari and Saya, Fall in Love×4tune‘s Karen, Haruno‘s Nanoka and Kanotsuku.
The Kickstarter campaign for the English release of Kyuuketsu Hime no Libra was successful, raising over US$180,000 with 2285 backers.
Tadaima! I’ve been back for almost a week now, but I’m still jetlagged (and for some reason on Europe time). I had a blast and brought back plenty of loot and memories. It was great meeting up with others and enjoying the food everywhere. I’ll probably write a post later about my experience (mainly Comiket), but there’s a lot of things to catch up on first. February post most likely won’t be on time as I haven’t even started on it.

that crowdfunding for sagaplanets is weird. The amount only pays at most four people for a month even for the low Japanese standard. Looks more like PR device (or something else) rather than actual funding method. I originally even thought it’s just for funding the event itself.

It’s quite a low amount. By the intro, it might be for funding the announcement event, although it could just as likely be a support fund. I would’ve considered backing it if I was going to be in Japan again in 1.5 months…

So seems like actually its a funding for the event which is going to be an introduction of the game, not game itself.

Rather obviously they’re crowdfunding the announcement event.
See the venue.

hey if you dont mind to answer, what did you tell your boss about your leave? i mean, at least you take a week day off to go japan

What do you mean? I just filed a leave request for the 3 weeks I’m gone and got approved for it. It was done at least half a year in advance. This is pretty standard protocol. They were pretty keen on hearing about the trip when I came back. I also brought back plenty of food gifts for them.
