November 2015 Eroge Releases

November 26, 2015 at 7:10 pm 16 comments

There’s plenty of anticipation over the new FrontWing title created by the Grisaia staff, Hatsuru Koto Naki Mirai Yori, while Hulotte’s Yomesagashi ga Hakadorisugite Yabai. promises to make your heart aflutter. In addition to Digital Cute’s delayed Tincle★Twinkle Festival!, SAMOYED SMILE’s Samidare Growing Up! and Jitaku Studio’s Naderebo! should be fun and comedic. If you want to play something rare, how about Clochette’s Koko Kara Natsu no Innocence? They’re not all balloons anymore!

So, someone needs to stop Micchi from playing MMOs ever again. Else this is what happens. For my part, stuff at the end of the month. As far as the actual releases go, mostly filled with meh, some eh.., and one or two whoohoos.

M-Ria! Ore ga do-M ni Natta no wa Dou Kangaete mo Omaera ga Warui

Company: Carol Works
Game site: えむリア! 俺がドMになったのはどう考えてもお前らが悪い
Release date: November 27, 2015
This is the first title by Carol Works. Shinji has a fetish for being treated coldly and violently by women. Because of his masochism, he hasn’t been able to get a girlfriend at all. However, a new transfer student Nozomi came into Shinji’s gloomy days, and he fell in love with her at first sight.

But even if he was to confess, she would most likely hate him if she finds out about his peculiar tendency. He sought help from his older sister Fumino, imouto Yasuna, and osananajimi Haruka to overcome it and become a normal guy. However, they flat out refused him; After all, they were the ones who turned him like this in the first place!

Fumino had a drastic suggestion: if they all treated him violently, it may improve his situation. All three of the them were quickly on board with the idea. And so begins Shinji’s abnormal daily life…

Watch as the do-M protagonist struggles in his quest to overcome his unfortunate tendency. Don’t you wish you were in his shoes? Maybe for those players of similar disposition out there, but I think I’ll pass. When has drastic measures ever helped solve a problem? Not that they want to cure him anyway. There’s plenty of H in this nukige; even the trial has a dozen or so scenes.

MM the nukige. Would have been more amusing with better focus on comedy and less on the H content.

Koko Kara Natsu no Innocence!

Company: クロシェット (Clochette)
Game site: ここから夏のイノセンス!
Release date: November 27, 2015
Not so long ago, as the urban areas progressed in their development towards being an information society, there were many places in the mountainous area which kept the same olden feeling. Yoshitsugu was a visitor from 100 years in the future who came to the mountain village Akio-mura. He had been labelled as a failure in the ultra-competitive society in the future, so it was unknown how he was able to travel to the past, an opportunity open only to those with high social positions.

Yoshitsugu wandered about in the mountains in the dark in confusion. He followed a firefly, which led him to a young girl in a small lake. The girl Iroha took him into her home for the night. Afterwards, he was granted special permission to stay in the village and enjoy life in the village for a little while. He got to know Iroha better, along with the actual visitors from the future, sisters Arika and Yuno, and the village chief’s daughter, Kotobuki. It was much different than the time he lived in: he felt soothed by the slow and carefree days.

Was it luck that brought him to the past? He thought that even he would be able to accomplish something here, like maybe fall in love with a girl. Their summer love story begins here.

Clochette and not all balloons!?!? Sesena Yau is the illustrator for this title, having worked on Pricolle previously as a sub-illustrator. I actually prefer Shintarou and Oshiki Hitoshi’s art a bit more, as well as their shading and just-the-right-amount-of-censorship. The game emphasizes the culture shock experienced by Yoshitsugu, Arika and Yuno, akin to visiting a new country. It’s hard to imagine a future where everything is prepared for you, common sense isn’t really needed since you have technology to do things for you, and sexual feelings no longer exist due to a new competitive selection system which replaces the actual sexual act. The trial was decently long, but didn’t leave as much of an impression as I initially expected. The mischievous Yuno is definitely my favourite character among the bunch. Also note that subcharacters Benio and Craletta have extra routes too.

It’s a Clochette game, which basically means if you care about the story you need not apply here. They are charage where the premise flirts with something you might want to read, then throws it all out the window in favor of random silliness. In this case the transition to a rural setting would have been okay were it left at that. Sadly though the random nonsensical time travel pretty much ruins any chance of things making sense or drama feeling natural. Play for the characters, ignore the story.

Samidare Growing Up!

Game site: さみだれグローインアップ!
Release date: November 27, 2015
This is the debut title for SAMOYED SMILE, which is affiliated with softhouse-seal. Hinata was like everyone at Yadachigawa Gakuen who recognized Kiriha as the perfect student who is both smart and beautiful. However, his osananajimi Makoto said that her appearance is merely a façade. He would later find out about her hidden true side by chance. Accepted into his group of friends, Kiriha found out how good it felt to be able to be herself without having to put on a fake exterior. Along with his classmate and osananajimi Haneru and his imouto Hiyori, who looks up to her, they enjoy their days together while causing mischief. However, the student council was not happy with their carefree group, especially the vice-president Yaeka, who was jealous of Kiriha and vowed to expose her true side.

2-G and Sukoyaka Gyuunyuu’s art is pretty easy to recognize, while Sankichi and Hatsu’s writing is pleasantly entertaining for a baka-ge. Just don’t expect much from the story at all and focus on the delicious delicious ero. There’s some animated scenes, and it’s not only for H scenes. The imouto nadenade scene made my heart skip a beat. I’d like Haneru and Hiyori in my life! Speaking of Hiyori, did you know that her seiyuu, Fujisaki Usa, voices five heroines this month?

Another more comedy less H would be good game. In this case it is to be expected with their affiliation however.

Tincle★Twinkle Festival!

Company: Digital Cute
Game site: ちんくる★ツインクルフェスティバル!
Release date: November 27, 2015
New release date after being pushed back from October. Situated on an expanse of land in a corner of the city, Saint Maradonna is a girls’ school with a long, storied history dating back to the early Showa Era. One of its traditions is a festival which is not known to outsiders: Chinkousai. It is a holy ceremony performed every year so that the girls at the school may be blessed with children with the greatest man in the future. The top student is chosen as the worshipped male deity Vernis and bestows the best genes upon everyone.

However, this year’s chosen one, Sena, refused to be put in such a shameful position. Instead, she ordered her twin brother Seiji to take her position. So, he was forced to dress as a girl and to live in the girls’ dormitory. His cover was quickly blown and his manhood was shown to all of the students. He thought that this was the end of his life, but they all thought that he was a true form of Vernis and greatly respected him.

What’s with Japan and dick-worshipping festivals? It’s a twist from the usual ‘guy ends up in a girls’ school’ story. I like Kouguchimoto’s art, which is both cute and ero. They promise lots of fetish H scenes and animation. There’s also some hidden scenes, so good luck with completing the game! Do you have the chinko fever?

Uuuuuuh…. Hooookay then…

Yeah, so uhh the game kind of makes fun of itself. How do you even make fun of a game with a protagonist who is essentially a big throbbing penis being worshipped in an all girls school?

Well hopefully it’s funny. If so I’ll go with it. If however it tries to be even remotely serious I would chop this festival off my list so fast this girls school would never even know it was there in the first place.

I played a bit of the trial and it was quite funny and entertaining. It’s so ridiculous that it works. The animated sprites are also a nice touch.

Kimi no Tonari de Koi Shiteru! -THE RESPECTIVE HAPPINESS-

Company: ALcot ハニカム (ALcot Honey Comb)
Game site: キミのとなりで恋してる! -THE RESPECTIVE HAPPINESS-
Release date: November 27, 2015
This is the mid-priced fandisc for Kimi no Tonari de Koi Shiteru!, featuring after stories for each of the three heroines, Nagisa, Rina and Ryouka. Not sure if imouto Megumi will get a route. Didn’t play the original game, so pass.

Yay for fandisks.

Kodomo no Asobi

Company: Lump of Sugar
Game site: コドモノアソビ
Release date: November 27, 2015
New release date after being pushed back from October. Kiyosumi is cursed with a strange spell: he can’t get anything done no matter how much he wanted. He had resigned himself to live forever like this when spring arrived and ‘she’ showed up. It appeared that she knew who he was, but he doesn’t remember ever meeting her. It should be their first time; he would never have forgotten if they did. She grimaced at him painfully and proclaimed:

“It won’t go away, even after all these years.
It continued to burn inside of me.
I love you so much it hurts.
It hurts so much, I can’t take it any more.
Even though I’m not supposed to have feelings for you, I love you so much that it’s driving me crazy.
I’ve made my decision, so Kiyosumi, it’s now your turn to decide…”

Lump of Sugar is doing away with gimmicks for this standard romance title (although the choice screens are still quite over-dramatic). Each of the four heroines is drawn by a different artist (Moekihabara Fumitake, Hatori Piyoko, Anii, Nanaroba Hana), which I find a bit jarring due to the difference in styles. There’s also four scenario writers working on the game, likely one for each route. At first, it looks like just another chara-ge, but what’s all this about roles and finding the true owner of the feelings? And there’s a talking red-eyed furball too… that’s never a good sign. I have the feeling that it’s all a play – but for whom? Deredere Sera is like Koikuma‘s Emiri: delicious. I’ll probably skip this though.

Still not completely free and clear of the Lump of Sugar gimmicks, but at least toned down. However even if they were entirely eliminated that does little to solve their second major flaw, the writing itself. Traditionally Lump of Sugar games have been about terrible made up plots filled with deus ex machina and completely random and nonsensical twists and turns while the writing would take the wrong direction towards the narrative. Emphasizing telling over showing with long overly verbose and awkward explanation and dialogue instead of creating a natural flow with the opposite.

I can only hope the plot doesn’t get any dumber than it already is, and the writers are able to beat competence into each other.

Schwarzesmarken: Kouketsu no Monshou

Company: アージュ (âge)
Game site: シュヴァルツェスマーケン 紅血の紋章
Release date: November 27, 2015
This is the first of two all-ages games based on âge’s light novels set in the Muv-luv Alternative universe. In 1983, East Germany had been forced by the invading BETA into a hopeless war of attrition. Second Lieutenant Theodor Eberbach is part of East Germany’s most powerful 666th tactics surface fighter (TSF) Squadron “Schwarzesmarken” (Black Marks). He trusts no one and fights only for his own life.

One time, he set out with the commanding officer Irisdina Bernhard to rescue an isolated TSF on the battlefield. When Irisdina found out that the rescued soldier was the West German army’s second lieutenant Katia Waldheim, she could not contain her surprise. Katia said that she crossed the border to take refuge, and applied for admission into the 666th squadron. The political officer Gretel Jeckeln reported that the Ministry of State Security (Stasi) had its eyes on her, but Irisdina accepted her admission and assigned her under Theodor’s tutelage. Not wanting to get on the Stasi’s bad side, he questioned her on why she defected into East Germany. She revealed that she came to find a certain person.

I’m sure this would be very exciting for Muv-luv fans (aside from the English localization), especially with the announcement of a Schwarzesmarken anime as well. I’m just not one of them.

More Muvluv milking plugsuits for all they are worth.

Company: 自宅すたじお (Jitaku Studio)
Game site: ナデレボ!
Release date: November 27, 2015
This is the debut title for Jitaku Studio. Itsuki is a kind person who would not be able to turn down a request for help. One day, he found out about his classmate Rushia’s secret. She is called the most refined, beautiful and intelligent Yamato Nadeshiko in the school, but she is actually a foreigner with exactly the opposite personality!? Her brother Isaac asked him to advise her on how to become the Yamato Nadeshiko that she aspires to be. He agreed not because he was asked, but because he wanted to do it for her. Later, the other girls around him all saw the mysterious blonde-haired foreigner clinging so closely to him and began to make their moves as well with the threat of a new rival.

I actually had some difficulty differentiating this game from Samidare Growing Up! since they both are comedies where the protagonist learns about the main heroine’s secret. Similarly, I don’t care much for the main heroine, but rather the other girls, namely the token loli Moegi and haraguro senpai Nao. Itsuki’s super high tension imouto Momo is great too. Every game needs some imoimo. This game sells gap moe and it sure hits the mark. There’s even a cat/doll/thing Satou-san, which would be fine in human form as well. The trial was very entertaining and I look forward to playing the full game!

Agree with Micchi about the similarity to Samidare. Disagree about the characters of course however. As far as the game itself, would be better without Mr. Protagonist being unrealistically nice.

I guess you just want someone that you can identify with.

Haru Uso -Passing Memories-

Company: Campus
Game site: ハルウソ -Passing Memories-
Release date: November 27, 2015
This is the first of four low-priced games by Campus, a new brand affiliated with light. There are many types of lies and everyone has their own reasons to lie. It could be to protect, to deny, to misrepresent, or to keep things unchanged. Souichirou can tell if someone is lying, even if he doesn’t know the specific reason. He gained this ability from a magician one day after wishing to know ‘true feelings’. In exchange, he requires magic power from fulfilling magic contracts, under the guise of the ‘Neko no Te Bu’ (cat’s hand club) at Mahoshi Gakuen. As a result, he became known as the school’s top troublemaker.

Spring is the season of first meetings and departures. He was called out by the school’s most beautiful girl Satsuki. He thought that they lived totally different worlds, but she nervously stood in front of him and conveyed her feelings to him. He turned her down since he was not interested in having a relationship, however she would later show up at the club with a request that he be her lover for the next ten days.

Each game in the series focuses on one of the four heroines, starting with Satsuki. At first, I thought it’d be just your usual story set in school A, but the magic element adds a bit of flavour. Souichirou (and you, the reader) sees others’ lies in pink stylized text. It makes the story slightly more interesting, similar to perspective changes employed by other titles. They still need to debug the game since I crashed during the trial. I also noted some recycled BGMs (from sweet light’s Himawari!). I don’t have a problem with Satsuki, but I’d like to know more about fellow club member Eris and tsundere kouhai Aoi. I’ll have to wait until next year though…

I would rather just have a full price game with four heroines. Hard to keep interest in other routes with a long delay between them.

On the other hand while I like the way lies are worked into the text I am less thrilled about the magic element. Assuming there is no further development past the “A wizard did it” background just to give him his lie detector… it’s fine. If they try to make it some major focus with magic powers, wishes, or everyone’s favorite deus ex machina solutions, then I will hate them. And their little game too.

Fall in Love × 4tune

Company: エスクード (Escu:de)
Game site: フォーリンラブ×4tune
Release date: November 27, 2015
The goddess of love shot her arrows at Keisuke, who was connected by four strings of fate. They hit the demon Meira, his imouto Kotone, his osananajimi Tsumugi, and the goddess Karen herself. With their attacks on him day by day, who will he end up choosing? Or could it end up as a harem life?

It’s a harem nukige. Not much more to say here. I think Panicon and Hanamaou might be a bit better visually, but this one does have a sadistic succubus voiced by Miru. You like that, you do-M pervert you?

I wish I could give her Rambo’s arrows instead.

Company: Navel honeybell
Game site: マジカル☆ディアーズ
Release date: November 27, 2015
New release date after being pushed back from September. During the current age of science, magicians don’t exist except in fairy tales. It is not for another 20 plus years before their existence became known. No one believed in them at first, then when it was shown that magic does actually exist, magicians were viewed with disdain from the public. However, it was thought that no one could defeat them. The general public surrendered to the magicians, but all the magicians wanted was to have a place of their own to govern. Thus, the magic school city Arcadia 5 was founded.

Currently, the gender ratio of magicians has reached 10000:1 with male magicians nearing extinction. Tomohiro is one such male magician, raised under close watch apart from the outside world. However one day, the chairwoman of Arcadia 5 sent him an invitation to attend the magic school. So, he decided to go with his imouto Minazuki in order to see the outside world.

But he was the only boy at the school and curious eyes followed him whenever he went. Amidst this situation, he had two goals to achieve: to fall in love with someone and to become a great magician.

There’s an imouto and magic is involved, so that’s enough to make me interested. However, the trial didn’t really stand out with your typical scenes (accidentally boob grabs, osananajimi reunions, etc). The best thing is the ultra-cute daughter-like rune element mascot chara Rune. I also don’t like the jarring eyecatches which started with Tsuriotsu.

I like to imagine the discussion that resulted in this magical last guy in the universe baby making simulator went something like this:

Douche A : “Everyone listen up, we have to make a new eroge. Which means it must be set in a high school somewhere as the stubbornly smug douchebags we are have our heads stuck so far up our own asses we can play hockey with our own tonsils. But as we all are aware, our ability to write would make a chimp cringe, thus we need to use some gimmick that would convince a high enough percentage of the horny mental patients that make up our target demographic to buy our game! So what are your ideas?”

Douche B : “Oh oh, I know, I know, we will have magic! Everyone likes magic! Plus we don’t need to explain anything since a wizard did it!”

Douche A : “Brilliant Douche B! I like the way you think, extra blowjobs and coke for you! Anyone else!?”

Douche C : “Yeah, I have a great idea too! Lets make the ratio of magical fairy men significantly less than women so our protagonist is automatically important cuz, penis! Plus this will guarantee him a harem since he is basically the only white magic wand in the world.”

Douche A :”YES! Gentleman we have a game, now let’s all go get drunk while snorting our magic pixy power powder to get in character for our “writing”. Leave the rest to the intern after he’s done extracting the magical power from our wands!”

Douche chorus : “Yaaay!”

And lo came this horrible deformed monstrosity called an eroge, born from a union that had to be incest. Thus we have irrefutable proof that little sisters should be avoided as heroines. The End.

But doesn’t everyone love magic and imoutos?????

If by everyone you mean overweight 40 year old virgins and bandwagon weebs, then yes! No arguments there!

Ya know, you could write a pretty good eroge. Since you’re such a big douche (¬_¬)

But I am also a lazy douche without magical motivating pixy dust power.

Yomesagashi ga Hakadorisugite Yabai.

Company: ユロット (Hulotte)
Game site: 嫁探しが捗りすぎてヤバい。
Release date: November 27, 2015
Daiki lives in an isolated village far from the city where the only other person around his age is his imouto Kirino. There is blood of the gods in his lineage and thus, he possesses a mysterious divine power. It is the family law that no one must know about this immense power.

One day using this power, he saw a dream where he was having the most passionate sex with his beloved. He remembered that he promised that he will make her his wife. It felt so real and he wished to meet the girl and make the dream come true. However, he must not use his ability outside; if someone found out, they would immediately have their memories erased.

Accepting the conditions, Daiki set out to find the girl, but… there were three girls who resembled her!? Moreover, he saw another dream where he was having sex with a different girl. Could his future be changing? Will he be able to meet the ‘promised girl’?

My promised girl is the Agumi Oto voiced Kirino. Sure, the other girls are all very cute and charming, but she’s the only one who understands you fully (since she can read your mind and feelings). Kiritani Hana and Fujisaki Usa also voice heroines in this game. Even though Moteyaba didn’t have a solid story, I still enjoyed it a lot, so it’ll probably the same case here. I’m gonna take all of them home! Hau~ omochikaeri~!

Since Micchi likes them, I won’t be having any wet dreams about this cast. Especially without any real story to back up a cast this lacking in appeal.

Hatsuru Koto Naki Mirai Yori

Company: フロントウイング (FrontWing)
Game site: 果つることなき未来ヨリ
Release date: November 27, 2015
During the Pacific War, zero fighter pilot Ichirou was carrying out a kamikaze attack on an enemy fleet when he himself transferred and crashed into an unknown desert. Then, as he roamed about the desert near death, he was saved by a princess who could change into a dragon, Yukikaze. He didn’t know where he was, nor did he know how to return home. However, he vowed to return home as part of a promise, even if death awaits him.

This is an all-ages title, but there is an X-RATED patch which can be downloaded using a code obtained at purchase with age confirmation. The patch will cost an additional 100 yen. It’s been almost two years since this staff brought Grisaia to its end and there’s plenty of excitement over their new title. Taking a military guy and sticking him in a fantasy world is always a good idea, if only for the banter. There’s no characters that I can’t stand, so I’ll keep my eye on this for the time being.

Grisaia was one of those series that made me lose all hope in the eroge community. It was god awful, yet popular. It’s not as though I hated it due to taste either. No, the game was just a haphazard hodgepodge of what the creators thought would be “cool”. Yet none of them had any real relationship to each other and made no sense.
At least this fixes the problems with Grisaia, where the characters, setting, and story were completely disconnected. So I can hope for a better game now with a setting that doesn’t require the story to be bound by logical rules. Thanks almost entirely to the story no longer being set in our world, and thus being bound by our common sense. Will be nice to read a game by Frontwing without having to facepalm every five minutes at the writers treating me like an idiot for even playing their game.

Kimi to Koisuru Gakuen Kissa

Company: リオン (Reon)
Game site: 君と恋する学園喫茶
Release date: November 27, 2015
One day, it was made mandatory that all students at Seikanen Gakuen be part of a club. Akira was among the majority of students whose school lives changed with that declaration. He was forced by his homeroom teacher to join the café club. However, the club would be disbanded unless there was at least five members! They were able to find enough members, but they were all extremely eccentric. The student council leader once again threatened them with dissolution… this time if their café isn’t a resounding success.

Writing is meh. Art is meh. Seiyuus are meh. Meh.

Watch it be an amazing game.

Boku wa Kimi Dake o Mitsumeru -I gaze at only you-

Company: インレ (Inre)
Game site: 僕はキミだけを見つめる -I gaze at only you-
Release date: November 27, 2015
This is a remake of the first title by rain dog, the doujin circle under which Inre worked before they went commercial. The leader of the juvenile group “Saber-toothed Tiger”, Takumi, was known as the most powerful in Kabukichou. He was called an incarnation of the devil by people in the underworld, taking care of problems that even the police can’t solve, while being both feared and respected by the local residents.

However, one day his two best friends were murdered by a mafia hitman, Aaman. This event triggered the downfall of the group, and Takumi himself had to go into hiding. One day, he received a request to become the personal bodyguard for the mysterious diva Towa. It appeared that she had been threatened with death by Aaman. After some deliberation, he accepted the job to seek revenge for his fallen comrades and to break free from his own nightmare.

Just like ChuSinGura was surprisingly good, this one made a good impression on me. While there’s some a bit less refinement than other titles, the characters had personality and the story kept me wanting to know what happens next. You could also vicariously live a life as a gang leader. It’s bordering on chuuni without being so. Towa would be someone I’d protect. Especially if she comes with Ikuno.

Must be difficult to contrive a grand plot involving some kid that likes to beat up other kids. So I wish they didn’t try. The whole lovable rogue bit can work to an extent but they still have to be a rogue to begin with. It would also help to not have what are essentially three different types of story going on. There’s the delinquent thing, the revenge on the bad guys who actually do their job thing, and the whole I’ll die for you pretty girl so love me, thing. None of which really match much other than acting as some ill planned backstory to move protagonist from point A to B. Why some random hoodlum would make a better bodyguard than a professional is beyond me. My point for all this rambling is why even attempt a story if you are going to suck at it. Just stick with the charage model, simplify the whole thing down, and give us a game that can be fun to read without a full frontal lobotomy.

Koisuru Kimochi no Kasanekata

Company: ensemble
Game site: 恋する気持ちのかさねかた
Release date: November 27, 2015
Starting next spring, adjacent schools Seiou Gakuen and Shiraba Gakuen will merge at the same time of the marriage between their respective chairmen. One day, Seiou student Ren and the student council leader Saori were asked by the chairman Rin to find out any worries that the students have about the merger. They immediately enlisted the help of the Shiraba student council leader Yukie and began to ask the students of both schools.

They each had their own worries: the closure of the student dormitory, the elimination of smaller clubs, an emotional attachment to their school, no longer able to chase after their dreams, family matters, and much more. Ren offers his hand in helping the girls with their worries and they happen to end up living together as ‘lovers’.

It’s an ensemble game which doesn’t have a trap lead! Basically the story is about all the problems and inconveniences that come from the merger. Not all students approve of it, but it’s not like they can really do anything about it. It also appears that the heroines all move in with him one way or the other. There’s a downloadable patch for imouto Ichika’s route that is only available for those with the first press edition. I hope it’s a full route instead of a throwaway. Imoutos deserve better!

I am impressed. Ensemble has made what has to be the most irrelevant plot for an eroge I have ever seen. Lets start with the most obvious point here… Who cares? Does it even matter what the students think about the merger? Why would another student actually care what they think, and for that matter go around being their butler as a result? All they had to do was mention declining birthrate, merge the two schools, stuff happens. None of the motivation here feels remotely relevant or important, its just here’s some girls with problems we made up, have at it. Ensemble has really gone downhill after their game about fake maidens and canvases, each game being even worse than the previous. Don’t expect more than some generic heroines milling around in a stew of horrible writing.

“Taking a military guy and sticking him in a fantasy world is always a good idea, if only for the banter.”

Hmm, I’m gonna have to disagree with that, but I’m sure you’ve had enough of my complaining about that specific plot device lol!

  • 4. Aero  |  November 27, 2015 at 1:57 am

    Post looks weird without zen…

Put me up for Naderebo for this month. Won’t find time for it until I finish Trails in the Sky SC though

  • 5. snooze  |  November 27, 2015 at 3:45 am

Was it just me or did the character sprites in the Hatsuru Koto Naki Mirai Yori (grisaia dragons) demo seem low quality?

  • 6. Snako_Takagorro  |  November 27, 2015 at 7:38 am

Lol, I read the premise of Yomesagashi and realised – main character uses his godly heritage, the power of divination… to see wet dreams… Seriously? I’ll still check it out as girls are adorable.

I guess my main ficus will be ensemble game – I like this company games (even thought their previous one was bad – can’t believe ensemble jumped on that knight bandwagon bull***t).

probably Yomesagashi ga Hakadorisugite Yabai. has a best eroge opening for 2015, would vote!
anyway I hope Zen is back since I love his sarcasm comments hahaha,
Well done to Michi too!~ But probably November didn’t interest me a lot :(

    Thanks for all your kind wishes! Sorry for the long delay ^^;;

@Aero: Yeah, there’s a clear lack of green. Winter must be coming.

@snooze: Especially when they zoom in. It’s quite noticeable.

@Snako_Takagorro: I think it’s not so much as him using it to see wet dreams, but rather him being made to see them. Either way, there’s no complaints.

@azdwpc91: We do! Although mine was last month :)

Is 果つることなき未来ヨリ’s way of adding the ero stuff seperately with a patch foreshadowing an english translation and port to steam?
I have mixed feelings about the growing number of japanese VNs that make their way into steam recently but it’s probably just my ego that wants me to feel special for being able to enjoy them…

ハルウソ too caught my eyes because I really can’t stand VNs with protagonists that have no strong point, I don’t care if they are amazing at cooking, drawing, espionage, leading troops or just figthing on their own (who am I kidding, the chuuni in me does have a sweeter spot for skills that are useful in warfare); I just want them to have some skill they (and I, the reader) can be proud of.
Being able to tell lies 100% of the time is a pretty good start and from the description he seems proactive enough to be labeled as the school’s #1 troublemaker so that’s good enough for me. One doesn’t need to be able to use some kind of satsujinken to be cool (although… mmmmh sweet satsujinken is sweet).

Finaly 僕はキミだけを見つめる does tickle my chuuni heart. I just hope it’s not like heavy with drama. From an objective standpoint I totaly accept well used drama as a way to make a beautiful story but from a personal standpoint my toufu mental says no to anything that even comes close to being a nakige.
Hopefuly you guys will be able to tell me how it goes, or the new edition will make people add more specific tags to VNDB.

As for the usual batch of moege some of them interest me just a tiny bit more than previous months, not to say they seem any better than usual but maybe more to my liking. Hopefuly our protags don’t get NTRd by music this time lel.

Anyway thanks for all your hard work, I don’t post often so I don’t get to say it enough but it’s a huge help every month!

Thanks for your comments! I don’t mind the porting, so long as they’re not changing their games just for the sake of Western tastes. We should never be their target player base or you might as well kiss the genre goodbye.

Wow, a month full of charage, which works out well for me since I freaking hate them. I see a couple of titles worth playing and will again make a retarded decision to pick up LoS, and I can see myself writhing in pain at the terribad plot like I did for the last title, Rensou Relation. I’ll still do it though.

No. I’m not a masochist. I’m just an idiot like that.

Haven’t seen you around for a while. Been busy with RL?

      • 16. joyjason  |  December 23, 2015 at 2:03 pm

2 week late response: Yep. Finals have been killing me and now I’m busy with work all the time. Will be able to squeeze one more review and a “look-back at 2015” post before the year ends though, so I’ve got that going for me
