New company Ushimitsu Soft‘s debut title will be Chuuni Hime no Teikoku. It is planned for an October 23rd release. Meanwhile, ninetail’s GEARS OF DRAGOON 2 has been set for December 18th.
Imouto Toa won the Wagamama High Spec chara poll, while Suzuha topped the Ren’ai Phase chara poll.
A-TOYS is making a 1/3 scale figure of Daito‘s Tsugumi. Nice smile and dynamite body! It comes out on October 31st for a very cool ¥36,000. Other figures coming out are Kotobukiya’s 1/7 scale figure of Fate‘s Saber (December, ¥12,800) and Orchid Seed’s 15+ 1/7 scale figure of Grisaia‘s Yumiko (January, ¥12,800).
Dakimakuras available soon are Samidare Growing Up!‘s Kiriha, Hanasaki‘s Kanna, Boku no Hitori Sensou‘s Rumi, PRETTY×CATION2‘s Azusa, Unionism Quartet‘s Amane and Silveria, and ALIA’s CARNIVAL‘s Tsukuyomi and Karin.
A new set of LINE stamps are out for Nekopara, featuring Maple, Azuki, Cinnamon, Coconut and Shigure.
While the first three routes in LOVEREC. (Chiho, Miyuki, Nori) were so-so, the true end (Hitomi) had a much more complete story and tied in elements from the other routes. There were even some delicious bonus material afterwards. While I enjoyed the game, I still feel that it is more of an ALcot Honey Comb title than one from the parent company… or maybe Clover Day’s was just too good in my opinion.
I’ll be flying out on a trip to the west coast for a week and a half. There’ll be no weekly news next Friday.

Interestingly enough, I had a much higher opinion of ALcot Honey Comb than ALcot proper until Clover Day’s came along. Everything I tried from Honey Comb so far has been consistently great (Harupoko, Satsukoi, Tonakoi), while most ALcot titles I’ve read ended up being rather forgettable (with the notable exception of Clover Day’s, which was amazing).
So I think Clover Day’s is probably the outlier, but who knows, maybe I’m just suffering from selection bias.

What’s so good about Clover Day’s? You talk as if it’s a kamige… I loved the common route, but still waiting for TL of the heroines’ routes…
