Sheila placed first in the Rance 9 chara poll. Chara polls have started up for Hare Nochi Kitto Nanohana Biyori (until June 12th), Chiccha Love Apart (until June 30th) and Ano Harewataru Sora Yori Takaku.
The PSV port Monobeno -pure smile- has been set for September 25th.
HOOKSOFT’s vocal collections “My Smile Pocket” and “My Little Stars” will be on shelves on June 26th and July 24th, respectively. They are both priced at ￥3000. The Hoshiori Yume Mirai vocal collection (￥3000) comes out on August 29th. It includes 13 songs.
Takara Tomy Arts is making a series of 1/7 scale Grisaia figures, starting with Amane. It comes out in September for ￥12,000. Next up is Michiru! Max Factory made a powered-up version of figma Saber 2.0. It is also scheduled for September and priced at ￥4444.
Not really eroge news, but Alice is ‘graduating’ from the high school musical duo ClariS. They were most well known for singing the Oreimo and Madomagi OPs.

AN was a blast! I was highly impressed with the level of the cosplayers nowadays. Meeting Mai Goto was an amazing experience and I got my signature board, tapestry and CD signed. I asked her to do a line from Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu‘s Mika and she went with 「やっほー、お兄さま！」 I can die happy now.
Played through a few trials before starting Sakigen. Yuria is saving me from death by balloons. June post will be a bit late.

Anime cons normally bring in only seiyuus who are either popular, or have a lot of requests submitted for them. I have to say that, despite my respect for her work, I rather doubt that there were that many fans of Mai Gotou’s limited work in mainstream anime or her work in eroge titles in AN’s locale, so I’m at a loss as to just how she was selected to appear. Mind you, it seems she got a warm reception, so maybe more eroge-focussed seiyuus ought to visit foreign cons and get some much needed encouragement that way.
Do you think you could make a blog entry detailing your experiences with her in AN? Some of us didn’t get that chance, so it’d be much appreciated if you could.
