Debonosu’s next title Kurenai Kagura will be coming out on July 27th. It’s an extension of their Kagura series. Release dates have been set for the following:

Choudengeki Stryker – July 27th
Owaru Sekai to Birthday – July 27th
Tiny Dungeon ~BRAVE or SLAVE~ – July 27th

Minto retained her first place position in the second Sakura No Reply chara poll. Of course such a cute imouto cannot be defeated. The Ane ni Kono Natsu chara poll (swimsuit contest) runs until May 7th, while the second Zettai Ryouiki☆Sex Royale chara poll ends May 10th.

The PSP version for Koichoco is planned for this summer, while the PS3-to-PSP port of Suzukaze no Melt -days in the sanctuary- comes out August 23rd.

key is releasing an album of Vocaloid versions of their best vocal songs.  “Key+VOCALOID Best selection vol.1” will be available at the Niconico Choukaigi event this weekend, but it’ll also be on shelves May 25th. You can listen to samples here. I don’t think they rendered it well enough; I prefer the originals instead. The D.C.III vocal album has been planned for August 10th, while singles for Konosora and Gakuou will come out May 25th and June 8th, respectively.

The Houkago Eroge-bu! official visual fan book will be on shelves July 10th. Delicious.

Kotobukiya has two 1/7 scale im@s figures coming out for Makoto and Miki as part of their Angelic Island series. They will be available for ￥8190 in August and September, respectively.

R-Line’s 1/7 scale figure of ToHeart2 Dungeon Travelers‘ Harumi Samurai ver comes out in June for ￥8400.

Phat!’s 1/8 scale figure of Atelier Meruru‘s Rorona is now available for preorder on the GSC website. It comes out in September for ￥7800. GSC also has announced that a nendoroid of Super Sonico tiger parka ver is planned for October.

Latest dakimakuras to open for preorder are Aina‘s Aina, Kurukuru’s Melilot, Nonoura‘s Miyabi and Eroge-bu‘s Akane. If you’re interested in cosplaying instead, the Sekajo seifuku and Shuffle! Primula hair accessories and Super Sonico bondage outfit can be all yours.

The online bookstore that I’ve been using, BK1, will be merging with e-book store honto starting mid-May. While BK points will carry over, I’m not sure if any rules will change (in particular, shipping overseas). There’s an info page about it on BK1, as well as some FAQs on both sites. I just placed an order before the merger, but I’ll be keeping my eye on any developments.

Now that D.C.III is released, time to wait for it to arrive! I’ll play some card games in the meantime…

You know, I found drawings and character designs on character song CDs for VNs to be significantly better looking in appeal (Hatsuyuki Sakura in this local example) than the game’s stock images that are plastered on various products (towel, pillow, card, etc), why is that? If the same picture or a variant of it went from the CD cover to a poster or something I’d actually want to contemplate buying it.
This isn’t the only time this occurred. Is it some music CD cover design tactic? I don’t buy the CD since I don’t listen to the music but I wouldn’t mind the cover art. by Amoirsp
Not sure. Maybe it has something to do with the dimensions since CDs are pretty much the only square ones… aside from mini pillows.
