October 2011 Eroge Releases

IT’S HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After a four month delay, Koisora FD is coming out at the end of this month and I will disappear for a week. Of course, there are other titles worth checking out: Cabbit’s Midori no Umi, Ricotta’s Walkure Romanze and Akatsuki Works Black’s Izuna Zanshinken. Note that I didn’t include Trample on Schatten!! Revolution+ since it is basically the same as the original with an omake.

I hereby promise to worship whatever god hears my wish and grants me a miracle to delay Koisora FD for another four months. Otherwise a month that on the surface looks like a great lineup of sure to be hit games, but sadly most of the main titles have little substance beneath their polished and glossy veneer of gimmicks meant to fool the not so discerning customer into forking over money for their cliché and sub par games. Ah well such is the norm and at least there are still several games that should be worth playing.

Nekoguri. ~Necra to Koi no Grimoire~

Company: Frantic LABO.
Game site: ネこグリ。~ネクラと恋のグリモワァル~
Release date: October 21, 2011
Comments:
This is the first title by Frantic LABO. Kyousuke accidentally embarrassed the new transfer student Misa. Unfortunately for him, she is fond of black magic and cursed him in revenge by locking him in the school and forcing him to search for a magic book in the underground bookcase. For some reason, she ended up cursing herself as well and also trapped his osananajimi Sayu, the timid Nono, and the rich ojousama Reika in the school. But the school grounds become a strange amusement park at night. Will they be able to find the magic book and dispel the curse?

I really don’t care for denpa games. They just seem like a mishmash of whatever the writer wants to stick in. But this isn’t the first denpa title that the writer Hozakura is part of, having also written Princess Party. Actually, many of the staff have links to CIRCUS. Pass.

A story essentially about a group of people being bound together by a single circumstance sure is an original theme by this point, yep. I would have to agree with Micchi on the denpa game comment, wacky is fine, strange and creative settings are great, but there needs to be some significance that ties it all together. The appeal to games like these is making sense of the author’s world, throughout the course of the story finding how all the seemingly insignificant pieces fit together to bind what seems like nonsense into one comprehensible whole. This game however radiates the feeling of dusty cobwebs compared the luminous gossamer threads dripping with morning dew that a well written denpa game will use to ensnare the readers psyche in a world of illusionary nonsense. Lacking a plot deeper than your average loli’s kiddie pool I have little doubt that this game will fail to intrigue people beyond its use as a charage.

MISTAKE×MISCAST

Company: ミニヨン (Mignonne)
Game site: MISTAKE×MISCAST
Release date: October 28, 2011 Delayed to March 30, 2012
Comments:
New release date after being pushed back from September. This is the debut title for Mignonne. Itsuki occasionally has dreams about a lover from his past life, Suou-hime. One morning in homeroom, a new transfer student named Rin who looks just like her appeared in front of his very eyes and he embraced her, happy that he finally met her again. “What are you suddenly hugging me for… What’s wrong with you?” Well, it’s natural that he would get hit after that doing that to someone who he met for the first time. However, that isn’t what shocked him the most. It was that the cute Suou-hime that he knew was now a tomboy. Meanwhile, her twin older sister Yui, his osananajimi Kuu and the rest of the class watched dumbfoundedly.

I’m pretty sure they’ll end up together in the end, all raburabu.

I wonder which game mignon got his past life from, there are plenty of choices after all. As far as his current life this is about as standard as eroge setups come, a dangerous choice for a first attempt at a game, unless the writing is amazing, this is likely to be a failure, especially in a month with so many more appealing releases, notably key releasing Rewrite, the competition is too fierce for a new company to not stand out in some way that attracts people other than die hard fans of the particular setup they have chosen. Since it is not my concern however I will take a look at the game when it is released to see what mignon is capable of, since though it may be standard there is also nothing that stands out as immediately bad or sub par save some minor artwork issues.

Let it be known that Micchi crossed out that sentence not I, as I am far too lazy to be bothered.

Master×Re:master

Company: Silver Bullet Automatic
Game site: Master×Re:master
Release date: October 28, 2011
Comments:
Kyuu is a young man with a sense of justice and responsibility and is childhood friends with the cheerful and mischevious Nanami. She is greatly interested in the occult and they formed the occult club, attracting many peculiar people. One day, Nanami heard about a mysterious antique shop from the club leader Saeka and went to check it out despite Kyuu’s opposition. She picked up the book, “Grimorium Verum”, and immediately wanted to test if it was real by performing the ceremony. Of course, Kyuu was dragged into it as well.

Under a bright red moon, Nanami opened the doors to the world of darkness and Mephistopheles appeared before them. However, in order to bestow power to Nanami, it intended to take her soul and Kyuu tried to protect her. He fell over and Mephistopheles declared the contract to be completed. Kyuu was now contracted to Nanami as a tsukaima and now has great magic power inside of him.

The world around them starts to change and mysterious things begin to happen: bulletless gunfire, mass suicides and bombings. They later find out that this is the work of other contractors using their special abilities (revelations). Will they be able to return to their normal lives or will they be destined to do nothing but fight?

This is the first story written by Kamakui Reppa and is action-based. However, it still retains some cliches like Nanami landing with her panties in Kyuu’s face, so it’s a bit hard to take it seriously. I guess you can think of it like fortissimo. I like violins as weapons.

I am so sick of lousy protagonists intent on righting all the worlds wrongs, I have yet to see any such protagonist receive a warm reception outside of your typical shounen manga. Maybe if the protagonist had more of a personality this game would amount to something beyond an ero Zero no Tsukaima and Fortissimo shounen battle story sandwich. Maybe I am wrong but I love the creativity that many of the better eroge showcase, almost invariably such games end up in the spotlight for years to come and provide a benchmark for all that follow. So why is it most companies see fit to come up with vapid rehashed garbage that does little more than exchange or mix together a few popular themes into some misshapen abomination that will wind up forgotten and collecting dust in a months time. It saddens me that creators see fit to mimic failure instead of success, or maybe they are making the same fundamental mistake moege fall into, focusing on traits instead of developing characters and story.

Outside of Clannad and Polyphonica violins have no business being weapons, gives me nightmares remembering a certain Macross series and their silly music as a weapon theme. I love violins more than any other instrument, I find that their beautiful and varied tones resonate well with me, but just no… unless you are bashing someones skull in with a guitar an instrument has no business being made into a serious weapon.

You mean Zero no Tsukaima wasn’t already ero? And violins are so much more interesting than other weapons, like a lance.

As I recall Zero no Tsukaima was devoid of H scenes, and you just want to yell out “BEHOLD MY HYPER WEAPON!” to your loli imouto harem.

World Wide Love! ~Sekai Seifuku Kanojo FanDisc~

Company: Navel
Game site: World Wide Love!~世界征服彼女ファンディスク~
Release date: October 28, 2011
Comments:
This is the fandisk to 2010 title Sekai Seifuku Kanojo. In addition to after stories for the 5 heroines, Ako’s sheltered and perfect yamato nadeshiko imouto Yoshiko gets a route. Typical fandisk. All imoutos will eventually get routes.

Fandisk for the newest of our typical Navel eroge failure.

Sekisaba! ~Shiritsu Sekigahara Gakuen Joshi Survival Game-bu~

Company: スペルマニアックス (SperManiaX)
Game site: せきさば!~私立せきがはら学園女子サバイバルゲーム部~
Release date: October 28, 2011
Comments:
This is SperManiaX’s first game. Yuuichi is starting first year at Sekigahara Gakuen, a school that is famous for having many clubs. But he has absolutely no interest in joining any clubs of them; he had chosen to attend this school only because it was close to home. His osananajimi Sonoka on the other hand desperately wanted him to join a club with her. While looking for Sonoka one day, he was suddenly taken down by people dressed in camouflage with face masks and guns. They demanded him to join their club at gunpoint.

Yes, I know it’s pretty much a nukige, but you don’t see many survival game themes in eroge. I’m sure Saori and her oneechan would be happy. I’m not too knowledgable about all the different types of guns, but each heroine carries a different type.

While the game is obviously nothing special to say the least, I do have to give credit where it is due for coming up with a rare theme for the game. That said I can’t say I agree with their choice to base the story on survival games, as in a realm where you can create anything you want why not make the game about the real thing instead of a poor imitation. Furthermore from their choice in weapon lineup that even the most amateur of weapon aficionados would find easily identifiable as well as just which guns they chose it is easy to tell their knowledge of firearms is mostly superficial. I feel the creators are trying for a unique setting rather than writing about what they know best.

If they all wrote about what they know best, you’d be complaining about the overload of school-life games.

No I think then I would be complaining more about lame protagonists, and how there are zero heroines to choose from.

Taisetsu na Kimi no Tame ni, Boku ni Dekiru Ichiban no Koto

Company: だんでらいおん (Dandelion)
Game site: たいせつなきみのために、ぼくにできるいちばんのこと
Release date: October 28, 2011
Comments:
New release date after being pushed back from September. Takaya entered the famous boarding school Seika Gakuen a year late because of an accident. Even though he was a year older than others in the class, he was able to adapt and live a peaceful school life. In June, the school prepares to celebrate the birthday of John the Baptist, the patron saint of the school. This is when he heard about the six secrets of the school, one of which occurs during this celebration. It is said that at sunset during this period, the old school building which was submerged in the lake will rise to the surface. Anyone who enters the building will meet a person who they should not be able to see ever again. It is supposedly a legend, but then one day, he saw it with his own eyes. That’s when he saw her again.

I haven’t really played any Dandelion games since they tended to be more focused on action, however this one seems to be more on drama and the PV/OP really interested me. Or maybe I just like the song.

Zombie outbreak! Just look at her pale skin on that cover! In all seriousness though I feel they could have done a better job on the setting, it feels almost like the game will be about heavens gate given the meeting and John the Baptist reference. I think the school setting here doesn’t work well as they are trying for too many serious overtones that just feel out of place when centering such events around a high school. Maybe it is just me but I feel this plot also conflicts with itself, as though the writer can’t quite decide what genre it should be, drama, mystery, action, or romance. Not to say that all are mutually exclusive as that is somewhat of the point of most eroge but this time the creators don’t feel confident in their portrayal of the game, as though everyone involved had a different view on it and none of them quite seem to mesh right. Ah well my misgivings aside I have at least some hope that it may work out as an interesting game, would certainly be a nice change of pace if it did.

I agree that the OP song is not bad, but it also switches around its own style too much and does not feel like it fits the game very well.

Izuna Zanshinken

Company: 暁WORKS-黒- (Akatsuki Works Black)
Game site: イヅナ斬審剣
Release date: October 28, 2011
Comments:
New release date after being pushed back from September. In the beginning of the 21st century, Japan has abolished the death penalty due to heightened advocacy for human rights. Heinous crimes are committed but just punishment is not served to the chagrin of the families of the victims. In this city descending into madness and grief, ‘hunters’ lie secretly in the shadows, taking justice into their own hands against those that have sinned.

An eye for an eye, that’s what this game all boils down to. For those that want their share of well-written action and who like their revenge served raw, you should know well that Akatsuki Works will deliver just that.

Feels like an attempt at Code Breaker the eroge with the whole above the law vigilante theme. As a fan of the Hammurabi’s code style of law I have to admit being partial to the idea behind this game despite Akatsuki Works games often feeling incomplete to me. Honestly what bothers me most aside from the protagonist being way too shota for the theme are their outfits, if you wanted to assassinate people the best method to getting away with it is to avoid drawing attention, not dress up like you are going to a Ninja Gaiden convention. I mean really how hard would it be to track people wearing flamboyant outfits like that, hell one of them even looks like a mahou shoujo, give her a wand and the transformation would be complete. This game would be a lot more interesting in my opinion if it stressed getting away with things in a real life setting while sending a message, perhaps starting out using methods that mimic things done during the cold war, ya know ricin pellets in umbrella tips and the like. Then moving on to more violent methods that seem more like a public execution in order to act as a deterrent, and to essentially terrorize criminals. Ah well at least this protagonist is not just some random dumbass who gets roped into marrying the schools most beautiful ice queen and lone heiress of a  long lost ninja clan because he tripped and fell into her, kissing her in the process and thus to uphold the family creed she must marry whichever man steals her lips, of course this would saddle him with the responsibilities of her house and regaining their former glory. I will give this game a chance as most of my concerns are fairly minor this time around and the plot itself is pretty intriguing and would be nice if the manage to pull it off well as I am always a fan of a good action game that offers more than just your typical high school romance eroge with some shounenesque battle scenes, see below.

Walkure Romanze

Company: リコッタ (Ricotta)
Game site: ワルキューレロマンツェ[少女騎士物語]
Release date: October 28, 2011
Comments:
New release date after being pushed back from September. Takahiro was a jouster like no other in his home country when he was a child, but he was forced to retire in the championship match due to an injury. Even though he might be able to joust again, he didn’t know if he would be able to compete at the same level. So he decided to become a begleiter (knight assistant) instead and support the female knights that he recently met in the upcoming jousting competition.

The art is very pretty, even if the armor looks really bulky (I prefer Koikishi‘s even if it makes no sense). The jousting theme is a novel one; Here’s hoping that they add some original aspects to it other than using it like any type of competition. Lisa is definitely the chara on my radar, especially since she’s voiced by Natsuno Koori. I suggest checking this out………. if it doesn’t get delayed again.

*Facepalm* As a child I grew up reading the various knight legends, so something like this is like spitting on my childhood by using it as a stupid gimmick for an otherwise standard high school romance eroge plot to stand out as something unique. This game is pitiful in that not only is the central theme obviously little more than a gimmick meant to trick gullible consumers into thinking there is something more to this, but that you could just as easily replace the jousting with kendo or any other combat sport that is actually active today in a high school setting. Do you know why jousting never really caught on as a sport outside of renaissance fairs? It is because it was training for war and with the invention of guns knights were no longer masters of the battlefield so the great risk of bodily harm was far too great. I have been fairly lenient in my acceptance of similar themes in other games, but this really takes the cake for how far into the bottom of the barrel they had to venture to scrape up something that makes the game stand out just a little. Putting aside the obvious gimmicks that do little more than throw a different looking skin over what is otherwise your typical boring high school romance eroge, what is with the setup for this plot? Our protagonist is a failure at life so ends up being promoted to armored harem manager, oh yes makes perfect sense. No doubt his kind assistance as their devoted waterboy will be enough to win their hearts and perhaps somehow inspire him to once again pick up his over sized poking stick and uh… poke people with it. Another thing that tends to bother me is how it seems Japan never read up on what Valkyries are, oh how I wish I could smack the creators of this game with a norse mythology book for their lame and unimaginative title. On the topic of art I will have to disagree with Micchi, the inking certainly is slightly above average however the lineart often shows perspective and proportion errors. I will now play Koikishi now just to spite this game.

BEHOLD MY HYPER WEAPON!

You mean that toothpick in your hand?

(´・ω・`)ショボーン

Kimi ga Ita Kisetsu

Company: アージュ (âge)
Game site: 君がいた季節
Release date: October 28, 2011
Comments:
New release date after being pushed back from April December August 2010. This is a full remake of âge’s 2001 title using the AGES system, with twice the volume. Masaki lives at the Isumi mansion with the four beautiful Isumi sisters. His hobby is taking pictures and he meets a renowned photographer Mitsuko who took him as her apprentice. At the same time, he fell in love with one of the sisters. One of his photos caught the attention of world-renowned photographer Helmut Newton-John who invites him to join him in America. This is a one in lifetime chance, but he is reluctant to be so far from his girlfriend. In the end, which will he choose: his dream or his love?

The art definitely reminds me of older games, even though it’s a step up from the original game. I can already feel the drama. A better question is why isn’t âge making a new game instead of milking Muv-Luv and Kiminozo. The AGES system is one of the best, so they really should design a new story specifically for it instead of just adapting an old game. Anyways, passing since I’m not interested in remakes.

Sadly as much as I usually like one of the characters in âge games I dislike their protagonists, the rest of the cast, and all the pointless drama so I’ll be avoiding this game completely. Since it is a remake there is little to say really if you liked the original game, liked other games made by the same people, or were interested in the game before this is a good chance to play the game after an update. Otherwise not a whole lot here to warrant your gaming time.

Shinsei ni Shite Okasubekarazu

Company: PULLTOP
Game site: 神聖にして侵すべからず
Release date: October 28, 2011
Comments:
New release date after being pushed back from September. There is a mansion surrounded by walls in a street situated in a corner of the city. Ruha lives inside this tiny Falkensleben Kingdom, which only contains her and two others: Hayato and his mother Yoshino. Hayato takes care of everything from waking Ruha up in the morning to cooking and cleaning. He feels that it is the least he could do for a girl that is alone. However, as summer approaches, both of them and the small kingdom all gradually begin to change.

Despite the odd setting, the trial was quite enjoyable – the characters were charming and the dialogue flowed well. Ruha was really cute and I want to see more of her and Misao (Taitanikku~~). The OP is one of my favs this year; it’s really calming.

The art sure looks loli to me even when certain body parts may be more than meets the eye. Plot wise this game almost feels unique, though sadly all it amounts to is a typical lonely princess type of story where the protagonist gets in her pants by being her loyal dog and easing her loneliness. Well written or not probably not a game to pick up if you are fond of a compelling story beyond your very basic typical romance route types.

Midori no Umi

Company: Cabbit
Game site: 翠の海 -midori no umi-
Release date: October 28, 2011
Comments:
This is the first title by Cabbit, a new brand under SkyFish. In the middle of the forest, there is a beautiful lake and a spacious western-style building where 12 people lived. They had all lost their memories and woke up to find themselves in this place. With many books in the library, instruments in the music room and absolutely no troubles, it is like a paradise for the residents. Even if they wanted to leave, they can’t because it is surrounded by a sea of trees and darkness – No one has been known to have successfully left. Then, one of the boys disappeared and Kai gradually remembers his past. He wants to find out why he is here, but is warned against doing so. What would happen if he regains his memories?

A mystery eroge where both the art and scenario are done by women. The scenario writer is Mikuriya Mikuri, who worked on the apocalyptic drama Harutoma2. There’s a LOT of lolis in this game (although Tsumugi is the same age as Kai, the protagonist). A hint system with the twins Sorane and Rikuno helps you in regaining your memories. This is definitely on my list.

Any closed world ruins the point of a good mystery as they cater to writers who lack ability to deal with added complexities in a world involving other variables and factors that can affect their plot, and so prefer to control their setting with an iron fist to avoid having to face their creative and literary failure. Furthering their literary cop out theme they chose to use a protagonist with no memories as the subject to allow them to restrict information easily and not have to consider how his memories would affect things before they want them to. From the title to feathers falling on water in the OP Midori no Umi is the equivalent of a third rate director abusing something like rain, a sea of wheat in the wind, or even your typical sunset as a means to draw out emotion otherwise lacking. The inclusion of plenty of females and children also plays on basic psychological responses found in what will be a mostly male audience. Using such devices to instill the sense of drama and emotional attachment amidst the backdrop of  a setting and story tailor made to cover up poor writing and story leads me to believe this game will wind up in the ever growing pile of failure eroge to be forgotten a few days after release when the poor suckers who bought it realize how badly made it is. Maybe if they emphasize that it is made by women, there may be enough desperate, or even if they don’t just plain gullible customers to keep this company going but otherwise nothing much to see here. Personally I feel this theme could have been much more interesting as a philosophical title involving a false paradise of whatever sort the creators chose to go with as there is definitely potential with the setting. Sadly however Cabbit chose to go with a cheap and overplayed romance mystery concept for their false paradise. One can only hope they don’t go the most obvious route with the story being about creating a paradise just for the people you want, as that would be the ultimate cop out possible here.

Like an eroge version of Brave New World? Woohoo orgy porgy!

Hey as long as they are happy, at least then we wouldn’t have to worry about trudging through a lame story.

Hare Tokidoki Otenki-ame

Company: ぱれっと (Palette)
Game site: 晴れときどきお天気雨
Release date: October 28, 2011 Delayed to November 25, 2011
Comments:
It is believed that there are close to ten thousands gods in this world. Even though they do not seem much different from regular people at first glance, it is believed that they have the power to grant wishes and create miracles. As a member of the Minagi Gakuen student council, Yuuya attends the greeting event at the train station for the new god transferring to the school. However, she doesn’t show up at the entrance, but rather falls down from the sky on top of him. The townspeople all ask her to grant their wishes, but the dojikko novice goddess Kanae doesn’t know how to.

Kusukusu and NYAON are back after the Sakura Strasse series and Moshiraba. Since Moshiraba is one of my fav eroge, I am highly anticipating Hareten even though the trial did not wow me. I love pastel art, so of course this is a plus for me. Nazuna’s cheerful personality despite her physical handicap makes her a really endearing character for me. It’s not only because she’s an imouto. Really!

Shinto themes have a special place in my heart as the concepts at the core of their eight million gods allows for a rich and varied interpretation of the mythology as every area is entitled to their own god or gods all of whom have their own stories. Well that said this has to be of the dumbest interpretations I have ever seen, miracles and wishes, clumsy failure gods that the protagonist no doubt will be responsible for asserting their worth and boosting their self esteem all the way to the bedroom. Gee where have I heard of this before? Oh, that’s right the roughly ten thousand games prior with almost the same exact setting or only minor differences. You know maybe it’s just me, but I hate when games take the easy way out with wishes and miracles as a fallback deus ex machina for the plot. Even if it is not used in such a way the entire concept defeats the point in such a setting when a game is about the relationships between people. There is nothing touching, romantic, or even inspirational about taking the easy way out instead of a story about characters who overcome whatever problems bar their path by their own power. Sure not all of these games will involve using a wish or miracle to wrap things up or even drive the plot as more than a background concept, however the mere presence of such a theme often cheapens characters relationships as they can attribute results to things otherworldly, imagined or not. A wish is just another word for giving up on something before trying.

Yumemiru Tsuki no Lunalutia

Company: Arianrhod
Game site: 夢みる月のルナルティア
Release date: October 28, 2011 Delayed to November 25, 2011
New release date after being pushed back from June. This is the first title by Arianrhod. In a slightly different future, there is an atmosphere on the moon and people study science and magic there. The protagonist transfers into a magic school on the moon aspiring to become an alchemist. His mahou shoujo imouto Satsuki, and classmates Asuka (swordswoman) and Enora (shaman), help him with attaining his dream. However, some residents of the moon find their adventures to be a nuisance and want them to leave…

The game is a mix of ADV and RPG dungeon questing, with card battles against monsters. You can use alchemy on the treasures you find. I’m not sure the specifics of the game system since there’s no screenshots or demo videos yet. I’d go to the moon if all the girls there had bunny ears! About the story…. well, it is written by Yamaguchi Noboru of Zero no Tsukaima fame and also the FrontWing games. I’m sure that should make the decision for you of whether or not to pick up this game.

Oh of course in a futuristic setting the moon randomly has an atmosphere for sailor moon to prance around giving panty shot service. This has to be the worst concept for an eroge in the history of the industry I am rendered speechless by just how many of my “Dear god this sucks” buttons this game managed to push. I imagine just because of the author many people will be trying the game given the popularity of some of his works, but not only do I not care if it was written by Hemingway himself but I feel Yamaguchi Noboru is extremely overrated to begin with. It is games like these that justify belief in false prophets claims of the world ending.

Renai 0 Kilometer

Company: ASa Project
Game site: 恋愛0キロメートル
Release date: October 28, 2011
Comments:
A reckless mother with 5 daughters lived next door to a reckless father with 4 sons. The daughters wished for a boy in the family, while the sons wanted a girl. So their parents proposed that they swap one child between the two families for 3 months. Kyouichi, the second-oldest son, was selected and the girls, who were only osananajimis before, now treated him like their own otouto or oniichan. The girl who was swapped out also had feelings for him and was extremely jealous that she cannot be part of the family as well. He felt both happy and very uneasy… how will this pretend-family turn out?

I admit that I’m kinda impartial to ASa Project titles ever since playing Achikoi. Their stories are shallow, but are quite comedic and entertaining baka-ge. And now suddenly, imoutos everywhere!? There’s absolutely no way I’m missing this!

“The relations between our hearts have been cozy up. Therefore, let’s are nestling close to each other.” Someone please give them an English book, that has to be the worst I have seen so far, even though I understand what they were trying to say.. it still makes no sense, which is way beyond the normal engrish failure. Aside their amusing failure at English, the rest of this game well I don’t think I even need to bother commenting really as its pretty obvious there is not much story to be had here, not that it matters in a game that exists for comedy only, and is not trying to wow you with a pretentious story. For what the game is I don’t see much to complain about, sure the setting is absurd with their swapping children to set up the plot and all the girls randomly liking one brother, but the game never tries to be something else so it just is what it is. Probably the best comedy pick for this month, as it is sure to provide a good laugh when you need a break from those dramatic romance scenes.

I can’t wait to nestle close to them after playing the trial!

If only it was possible to get an eroge restraining order…

Koiiro Sora Moyou after happiness and extra hearts

Company: すたじお緑茶 (Studio Ryokucha)
Game site: 恋色空模様 after happiness and extra hearts
Release date: October 28, 2011
Comments:
New release date after being pushed back from June. This is the fandisk to Studio Ryokucha’s 2010 title Koiiro Sora Moyou, with after stories for each of the 5 heroines, as well as new stories for the 4 subheroines (Yuuki, Aiko, Kiyomi and Machiko). The story picks up after the Kaminajima Crusaders defeated the bad guys and prevented the closure of Kamina Gakuen. Returning to peaceful (?) days, Seigo helps the new student council out with the culture festival preparations. Of course, there’s also now more time for sweet love.

Once again, the skies are dyed with the colours of love! Hopefully this time the individual routes aren’t pathetically short since I am dying for more of Aya, Mikoto, Sera and the rest of the cast. But most importantly, the subchars are now heroines too!! (Sorry Hisashi, only the girls. You’re forever the protagonist’s best friend.) Which means… YUKKIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!! I’ve been waiting for a Yuuki route for so long! She may be too plain for some people (Zen), but she had me from the moment she showed up with a clothesline pole sasumata. I had bet ten thousands of yen bills that she’ll get a route, along with Ai-chan, and my wish has come true! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

Ruchie and Hirose Madoka’s art is wonderful as always. Even the iron glasses looks cute… when her glasses come off. And let’s not forget a double dose of Miko-chan & Ai-chan. “3p, what’s that?” Hau~ omochikaeri~!! Why is the release date at the end of the month!? WHYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!??????????

A fandisk that I will play, other than that thank god it skips the absolutely terrible story in KoiSora. As an update, I truly hope this gets delayed again.

Not. Gonna. Happen.
