More Imouto Anime

Two new releases from CIRCUS: Another Christmas-themed D.C. title, D.C. Dream X’mas (December 24th), and a repackage of RPG Gakuen with some extras, RPG Gakuen 1.5 (November 26th).

Gokudou no Hanayome and Kicking Horse Rhapsody have both been scheduled for November 26th.

No surprise here: Hoshikaka has been delayed to October 15th. It will come out when it is out. Both eps for T.P. Sakura have been rescheduled to later this winter, possibly due to chief tororo stepping down.

Popular bracon imouto ecchi comedy manga Oniichan no Koto Nanka Zenzen Suki Ja Nain Dakara Ne!! is getting an anime adaptation! It’ll be animated by ZEXCS and directed by Motonaga Keitarou (Lovedol, School Days, Akasaka, Tayutama). I’m not going to get my hopes up for a good adaptation. And Nao is nothing compared to Noa in Oniichan Control.

The recently ended Shukufuku no Campanella will be getting an OVA.

The chara song CD for Noble Works‘ Hinata comes out on October 8th. For some reason I’m not as hyped up about this title than for Tenshin Ranman.

Light novel series Kokoro Connect (Anda Sadanatsu, illust. by Shiromizakana) will be getting a manga adaptation. The story is a slice-of-life based around the members of the culture study club. Also, the third volume for the LN will be out on September 30th.

GSC’s latest nendoroid of Touhou‘s Flandre is worth getting just because she looks different from other nendoroids. Those crystal shards seem to be easily breakable though…

Au au au~ It’s a Hanyuu Angel Mort ver. figure from AmiAmi! Priced at 4980 yen and it’ll be out in February.

You can get the set of K-ON! animal kigurumi figures from WAVE at 6090 yen. Release date is next February. I still think the kigurumi are kinda scary.

azone has made a 1/3 scale doll for Sora no Otoshimono‘s Nymph. She’s all yours for 59,850 yen! Hair and face looks good, but the body seems stiff.

Alternatively, you can spend that money on a bunch of dakimakura. Following ALcot’s release of Shiori, they’ve now made one for Mai! Now you can have both Mai to yourself. Chara High also has new dakimakura for Koihime‘s Touka and Ashe.

I bet you are thrilled.

Oh god, Pikachu’s a gremlin now. Aside from the suspect CGs, the idea of a darker Pokémon is actually pretty intriguing.

It’s been a while since we had new games announced. Three new companies make their debuts: 3rdEye, GALACTICA (part of Nexton group) and NanaWind. Mitha will be the main illustrator for NanaWind’s first game. Here’s the list of new games as announced in TECH GIAN:

Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi has been delayed again, but only for a week to September 30th. TRUMPLE’s Ushinawareta Mirai o Motomete has been pushed back a month to November 26th.

FAVORITE is releasing Hoshizora no Memoria Complete on November 26th combining the original game and the fandisk. It’ll come with a drama CD “Hikari no Relay”. The offical page opens on September 24th.

PULLTOP is using 3D chibis to promote their upcoming title Lovekami. They’re pretty funny and cute.

The Lovekami general election lasts until October 1st. Iwana has jumped out to an early lead. Sakuya easily won the Tasogare no Sinsemilla post-release chara poll. Suzune topped the 2nd Motto Nee, Chanto Shiyou yo! chara poll, just like last time. Enor beat out all the girls to place first in the Nanapri chara poll.

With two weeks remaining to vote in the Moe Game Award 2010, Applique’s Tasogare no Sinsemilla is leading in almost every single category. I also hear it’s a decent imouto-ge.

Doujin circle SherbetSoft‘s next title is Seifuku Tenshi. Their last title was Resign. I’m really interested in Fuguriya‘s next all-ages yuri title Hanahira!. Art looks really cute and story seems sugar-laden. Download version comes out on September 24th, with the package version out on October 8th.

Since nemuiwanko’s back, he’ll be bringing back the anime season preview with Zen. I’ll also chime in on series that are relevant to my interests, like Oreimo. The Oreimo CM (15s + 30s) came out and two weeks never seemed so long!

Sae‘s route ended on Amagami SS this week, but the big news is that Miya is getting her own route too! I don’t think it’ll go beyond family relationship, but if you want actual sibling love, just wait for Yosuga no Sora this fall.

Index 2, Oreimo, Hakuoki 2, SoraOto forte, Milky Holmes, Otome Youkai Zakuro, Togainu no Chi and Star Driver will be available for free on Niconico for a week after each broadcast.

In addition to Papa no Iu Koto o Kikinasai! v4 coming out on September 25th, there’s a few other new light novels coming out this month:

In Re: Ore no Keitai Nante Kawaikunai! (Kamio Jouji, illust. by 2-G), Kurou decides to get a new cell phone and is recommended a new special deluxe version. He is told to head to a chapel to get his new cell phone, and once there, a wedding march plays and a girl in a wedding dress is waiting for him. This love comedy is very similar to HOOKSOFT’s LikeLife and even features cameos from some of the game heroines.

Hyakuoku no Majo Katari (Takeoka Hazuki, illust. by Nakayama Miyuki) is about a hero Alto Gustav whose last goal is to graduate from the Kaizel magic academy. Since attending the top magic classes would probably get himself killed, he decides to enlist in the witchcraft classes instead. Awaiting him there are three pretty girls who question his reasons for being there in this witch fantasy love comedy.

Harem wa Iya! (Mikagami Marehito, illust. by Piromizu) features new student Satoshi who becomes good friends with classmate Shiori. One day, his senpai Ayano fixes up his uniform and his cute childhood friend Miyu chats happily with him, causing others to call him the ‘harem king’ out of jealousy. But Satoshi has a secret he doesn’t want others to find out about…

Paradigm novels will be adapting Sugar+Spice2 to paperback on October 30th.

Light novel Re: Baka wa Sekai o Sukueru ka? will be getting a drama CD. There’s also two new PVs on the official site.

The drama CD for Mashifoni‘s Ange comes out on September 22nd. I really hope that they sell well, so that there’s a chance of an anime adaptation.

Nippon Ichi’s SRPG Makai Senki Disgaea4 for the PS3 will feature use of Takehito Harada’s illustrations instead of sprites (although you can sprites if you wish), battles with other players, transformations, and others. Whereas Disgaea3 was school-based, this will be politics-based with a general election. The main characters are vampire Valvatoze, werewolf Fenrir and Prinny girl Fuuka. You can check out the PV here. The limited version comes with a Fuuka nendoroid from GSC. ♥Fuuka♥

Alchemist has finally revealed their new project… It’s actually two new games: Umineko for PS3 (December 16th) and Galgun for the Xbox360. The PS3 port features much better graphics in full HD and covers the first 4 games. Goat-kun is now on steroids! Galgun allows you to shoot pheromones at 60 girls while they make ero noises. Ya, that’s pretty much it. Oh, and tentacles.

The PS2 version of ocelot’s Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica After School will be out on November 11th.

Kotobukiya has unveiled the anticipated Nanoha casual wear ver. 1/8 scale figure which comes out in January. They also made a ballerina version of Evangelion‘s Rei (7140 yen, January). It’s a cute figure and all, but I don’t really think it fits her character.

Two new figmas from Max Factory: se.Kirara‘s Mana (3000 yen, December) and Touhou‘s Aya (2800 yen, January). I love Aya’s troubled face.

Embrace Japan has made a 1/8 scale figure of Isshoni Sleeping‘s Hinako (December). Not really worth 8190 yen.

ALcot has made a delicious dakimakura cover for Riaimo‘s Shiori. The safe version is sooooooooooooo cute! >w<

No webclaps this week. Loved Mai’s route in Yoake. It’s been a while I played a well thought out story. Going through Natsuki’s route now while also reading Galge no Sekai v2. I’m glad that the light novel reviews are getting a good reception.

Noble Works Release Date Set!

ALICE SOFT has announced a bunch of new games, including Shamans’ Sanctuary -Miko no Seiiki- (November 26th) and Rance8 (2011 after Daiteikoku). Eushully will also be announcing a new SRPG using Himegari Dungeon Meisters‘ system. Other new games are:

The main heroines for MoonStone Cherry‘s upcoming game Imouto Paradise! were revealed at C78. They are Rio, Michika, Koharu, Hiyori and Aya. Oh so delicious…

CIRCUS has released the first PV for T.P.Sakura. I never thought Sakura could get any more loli. Utamaru speaks!!! :O

Molamola.software has play videos up on their site, so far featuring imouto subchar Yamame, osananajimi Hane and seitokaichou Chinu. System looks a bit choppy, but feels a bit like Koisora. The chara poll has also started up. Go Hane! >w< She’s still a close second behind Aiko at the moment.

Yoshika topped the Consome! post-release chara poll. You can download a commemorative wallpaper here. Momiji placed first in the fortissimo//Akkord:Bsusvier chara poll. I have no problems with this outcome.

Chartfag has released the fall 2010 anime poster. I haven’t been this excited about an upcoming season in a long long time. Top of my list is of course Oreimo, then Yosuga no Sora, Fortune Arterial, MM!, Kami Nomizo Shiru Sekai and the Koe de Oshigoto! OVA. Lots of light novel and eroge adaptations.

Alchemist has a new project coming out, which definitely has a Umineko feel with the portrait and sealed letter. More info to be revealed on August 25th.

WordPress has added a new Twitter button and I’m just testing it out to see how it goes. Just click on the “Tweet” button at the bottom of the post and you’ll be able to tweet about you found interesting this week without having to leave this page. You can also see who else has tweeted about it. Pretty nifty.

I’m done Fuu-chan’s route in Sugar+Spice2. An itoko is fine too. The S+S system is quite interesting, featuring lots of mini scenes which each require action points and sometimes require a certain heroine affection level or having watched a previous scene. This is reminiscent of old-school dating sims, except without the monotonous daily grind.  Even though I finished Fuu-chan’s good end, there are still many scenes that I had to pass over due to lack of action points. After the first route, things get a lot faster though since you can carry over affection points if you wish and skip previously-read scenes.
