Looking to Relax

Confiture Soft has revealed their next game, Rhapsodic Holiday, then also announced the master up! That must be one of the quickest master ups I’ve ever seen! They probably wanted everything done before announcing anything.

The following titles have been delayed:

Kimi to Mezameru Ikutsu no Houhou – May 25th
Cute Resort – June 29th

August/ARIA’s Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai is being ported over to the Nintendo Switch. It is planned for a July 26th release.

The PS4/PSV port for Prekano’s Tonari ni Kanojo no Iru Shiawase ~Winter Guest~ will hit shelves on June 28th.

There’s a pair of figures up for pre-order at GSC: Aquamarine’s 1/7 scale figure of FGO‘s Idol Emperor/Nero (September, ￥18,333) and FREEing’s 1/4 scale figure of Muv-luv Alt TE‘s Cryska bunny ver. (September, ￥21,111).

BaseSon’s dakimakura for Koihime‘s Karin is up for pre-order.

The April trials are starting to come out, so I’ve got a couple of cat-themed ones to play this weekend: Neko Neko Koneko and Nyanto Suteki na Natsuiro Days. I’m more excited about the latter. You can’t go wrong with nekomimi and pools.

A New Love Song

ωstar’s Bishoujo Mangekyou Ch3 has been delayed once more to March 27th.

The dragon queen Julia won the VenusBlood -Hypno- chara poll and will get a dakimakura. Also victorious was Union Quartet‘s Silveria.

The first volume of the manga adaptation of YuzuSoft’s upcoming title Sanoba Witch will be on shelves on March 23rd. The Daemon Busters visual fan book comes out on February 17th for ￥2800.

Zannen na Ore-tachi no Seishun Jijou‘s complete sound album will be released on February 27th for ￥2500, while the PRETTY×CATION2 OST comes out a few days before the game’s release on April 22nd, priced at ￥3200.

5pb. has announced a combined port for LOVELY×CATION1&2, scheduled for May 21st.

There’s another mobage coming out this spring called Hatsukoi no Uta and it features a promising cast of characters. At least the system isn’t just another card battle game. It’ll be available for both the iOS and Android.

Cospatio has a renewal version of Feena’s dress from Yoake. It won’t cost you a fortune – only ￥82,080.

I really should get back to playing eroge. Been busy doing other stuff for the past month, so there’s a backlog starting to build up (Nekopara, Nostalgia, some trials). Chocola and Vanilla are waiting for me!

Very interesting news from NEKO WORKS: Nekopara will be fully available in three languages (Japanese, English, Chinese)! Look forward to volume 1, which comes out at Comiket 87!

The Fuguriya/YurinYurin staff started yet another website, St. Michael Girls’ School. It still features the same series so I’m not sure why. The most interesting thing is their Twitter follower campaign. They promise to found the school in the 3D world if they pass 59 million followers.

CLOCKUP’s Ero Manga! has been delayed to December 26th.

FAVORITE’s Irotoridori series is being ported to the PSV next year as Irotoridori no Sekai WORLD’S END -RE:BIRTH-. It’ll add additional graphics and episodes.

I totally didn’t expect a figure of Prism Recollection‘s Konoka to come out. This 1/6 scale castoff figure from MILESTONE comes out in February for ￥12,000. There’s also a 1/7 scale Super Sonico summer santa ver. figure from ALTER available at the MegaHobby EXPO at the end of November. It’s priced at ￥9,900.

Dakimakura are available for preorder for Yakimochi Stream‘s Mutsuki, and Harvest OverRay‘s Yuuka and Sumi.

After finishing Minakoi, I think the story set-up has improved since Koisora, but I still think the latter was better since it didn’t try to incorporate too many elements. At many points in the story, problems were resolved in a matter of a few sentences which made things quite anti-climatic. I still enjoyed playing it, but it could’ve been better overall. Characters are great though. Sakkyun <3

Part of the preorder campaign for softhouse-seal’s March release Zettai Zecchou Seiki no Daihatsumei!! is a bodypaint patch. That’s a step up from the last game where they just took the skirt off.

The Hello, good-bye chara poll has started up and runs until February 28th. The winner will get a wallpaper made for them. Of course, Koharu is the best!! Also running until the same day is the Canvas4 chara poll, led by Satsuki.

Who won the Oreimo chara poll? Will it be Kuroneko, Kirino… or maybe Ayase!?

The Hayate no Gotoku! movie will be out this summer. Dog Days comes out this April, while Ikoku Meiro no Croise is scheduled for this summer.

Pachinko game Sengoku Otome is getting an anime adaptation. It can’t be worse than Rio Rainbow Gate… right? Actually, most likely not.

A-1 Pictures’ original anime Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai (debuting this April) is getting a novel adaptation. You can read a sample of the first chapter here.

In the light novel spotlight this week is KyoAni Award winner Chuunibyou de mo Koi ga Shitai!, by Toratora and illustrated by Aisaka Nozomi. Yuuta used to suffer from chuunibyou (8th grade sickness), but that is a thing of the past after he graduated from middle school. But then a strange girl named Rikka who was inflicted with chuunibyou came to him and made him contracted to her! Rikka is really cute and it should be a pretty funny series. No release date for the first volume has been announced yet. I plan to pick it up when it’s out.

CLAMP’s latest series Gate 7 has started serializing in Jump Square magazine’s recently released March issue. The visual book for Dream Club Zero will be on shelves March 30th. Secchan~

GSC is making nendoroids of Valkyria 3‘s Riela and Imca (June and July respectively). Kotobukiya continues the Manaiku 1/8 scale figures with Ilfa kunoichi ver, coming out this summer. Other figures announced this week include:

A couple months ago I picked up Gekkou since the synopsis sounded interesting and didn’t get around to reading it until now. The air of mystery surrounding seemingly perfect girl Youko and her ‘murder recipe’ pushes the plot along, as I’m trying to deduce if she is indeed the culprit behind the ‘accidents’. Nonomiya is different from other male protagonists in the sense that he’s cynical and in it due to his curiosity. I wonder if the first volume will resolve some issues or will I have to wait till v2…
