Tsumikoi_MeguriYou’re probably aware already, but there’s been some nice announcements at Anime Expo a couple weeks back. Sekai Project is finally bringing over Baldr Sky, as well as Koikuma and Sakusaku, while MangaGamer will be localizing Trinoline, Sukisuki, D.S. and Maggot Baits. The future is looking bright for those who have been clamoring for more titles in the West.

MOONSTONE is working on a sequel for Sakuranomori†Dreamers. Does that mean Madoka returns?? I think I wouldn’t be the only one that would like that to happen…

New titles recently announced include:

ALcotYomegami My Sweet Goddess! (October 28th)
NekoNekoSoftLamune 2
SkyFish pocoHoshizora Tea Party
SWEET&TEAKarenai Sekai to Owaru Hana

Release dates have been set for the following:

Low Spec!? – October 28th
Hoshikoi*Tinkle – January 27th
Haruru Minamo ni! – March 24th

Luxury Tiara’s debut title, Ojou-sama no Hanbun wa Renai de Dekiteimasu!, has been delayed to an undetermined date. The following titles have also been delayed:

BALDR HEART – August 26th
Ichibun no Ni Koigokoro – August 26th
Katahane -An’call Belle- – August 26th
Chuuni Hime no Teikoku – September 30th
Nanairo*Clip – October 28th

Rorolog_Complete_SoundtrackEma topped the Harumina chara poll, while Shino took first place in the Senkoi goods poll.

CDs hitting the shelves in the coming months include Kagura Houshinka OST (July 29th), Whirlpool complete album 2006-2016 (August 11th), Aokana piano album #1 (August 12th), Wagahigh radio CD (August 12th), Strawberry Nauts drama CDs (August 12th), SMEE vocal collection (August 12th), Kara no Shoujo drama CD (August 26th), and Rorolog complete soundtrack (August 26th).

The Unionism Quartet visual fan book will be out on September 30th.

There’ll be a PSV adaptation for Navel’s Otome Riron later this year.

Nekopara_Vanilla_Trading_FigureKickstarters for a Nekopara anime, as well as a remake of Kiminozo, will be forthcoming. Let me get out the popcorn.

The latest Deremas figure from GSC is Rin crystal night party ver.. This 1/8 scale figure ships in February at a price of ¥11,852.

The Nekopara trading figure box can be all yours for $100. It comes out in December.

Dakimakuras coming out include Koikuma‘s Aruru, D.S.‘s Ame and Hazuki, Lunaris Filia‘s Filia, and Rorolog‘s Kuon.

cafe&bar SIXTEEN is holding a collaboration with FloFlo from July 21st to August 9th.

I feel like I’ve made a bad life decision trying to play TOS, Deresute and Pokémon GO at the same time…

Actually looking forward to Karenai Sekai tbh. A branch of Palette is always a welcome addition. Art by Ametoyuki’s going to be pretty nice too

Not sure if I should be happy about sakusaku and koikuma translations. I’ve had some cancerous discussion with r/visualnovels, so I don’t genuinely feel 100% happy about more English titles, and at least for sakusaku, the translations are more than likely going to kill the double entendre jokes which was quite important for the humor in the game. As for Koikuma, translate the CV-comments section that opens after completing the game and I’ll be happy. I need people to hear Ogura Yui making fun of the Japanese AV industry

Question though: Lunaris Filia is a pretty old title. Why is JUST NOW getting a dakimakura? Did it suddenly explode in the last week that I didn’t hear of?

Still waiting for them July Games List, Micchi. You’re slacking :)

I’m not slacking! I’m busy hunting for Pokemon!

It’s getting a daki as part of 10th anniversary.

how could you! I’m not as bad a translator that I’d pass over puns ;p

To begin with, sakusaku is pretty easy in that regard. Other titles I’m working on have much more difficult wordplays and puns.

Well, if you say so, then I’ll take your word for it. I’m taking your words with a grain of salt though, since I was a translator at one point and understand how hard it is to translate some elements which is made especially harder because some people aren’t familiar with terminology of the references used

An example from sakusaku would be that one scene for which I used in my review, how Konami came back after a Shogi match and said “Tama ga torereta” (my “balls” were taken). A lot of Westerners don’t play Shogi, and don’t even know what “tama” is in a Shogi match.
