Natsu_no_Osananajimi_to_Fuyu_no_Kanojo_YumeMari topped the Koiken Next subchara poll and will get a route in the upcoming fandisk! Congrats! ^^ The Amatarasu Riddle Star chara poll is now underway and will run until September 13th.

The 180-page full colour Renai 0 km Portable official artbook will be on shelves September 20th. How many pages of Noki faces will there be? I hope there’s a full-page spread.

GIGA’s bitter smile. is being ported to the PSV by TGL. It is scheduled for November 28th. Also coming out on the same day is Alchemist’s adaptation of CUBE’s your diary.

Two Saber figures are available for preorder: Wing’s 1/7 scale Saber pajamas ver. (December, ¥8400) and Griffon’s 1/7 scale Saber (October, ¥10,700). I like the first one more.

Delicious Aori daki… *drools*…

Finished the trials for both Cocoro@Function! and Karumaruka*Circle. I’m especially excited about PULLTOP’s upcoming title as it was quite long, but yet kept you entertained all the time. Pacing is done quite well and the characters are likable. I really want a concierge app (v2.0) like Bell!!! I wonder what further abilities will be uncovered when they level up their CF apps…

After playing through Cocoro@Function!, Karumaruka*Circle didn’t grab me as much. There’s the notion of the maka (basically the seven sins) and getting together for a ritual to rid themselves of it. Definitely has a magical element to it, but the prologue didn’t do much beyond introducing the characters. Nicole is awesome!!

September post is tentatively scheduled for the 14th or so. I want to play through these trials first before writing.

Hello Micchi! I highly respect you and visit your blog regularly. I endend up doing a blog on wordpress for reviews about many otaku related stuff, but since I play A LOT of Eroges, it is almost dominated by Galge reviews. I even believe that much of the blog has your influence on it (like the widgets and terms that I use). If possible, I would like you to take a look at my blog and give some hints about what I should do to make it better (I am kind of new to this blog thing). It would be pretty awesome if you could add my blog to your link list too. Thanks! by gangrelion
Thanks for visiting! I’ll be happy to link to your site. As for blogging advice, since you’re just starting out, I think the key thing is talking about things that interest you. You’ll find out over time you’ll end up creating your own niche and style. It took me a year or so to really figure out what I wanted to blog about, so be open and receptive to changes ^^

I also just finished playing the Cocoro@Function yesterday and I also thought it was very fun! I also liked most of the characters, but didn’t like Mina. I will definitely complete Asagao’s route (even though she has a name that makes difficult to take her serious). My favorite character for now is…Tayou! It’s so difficult to see a protagonist that has so much strength and importance to the plot. I am sure looking foward for this title. It’s also remembers me a very old game a like: Cocoro Navi. It has similar themes but is more focused on the Online world. There is even a hikikomori imouto too! (also note how both use “C” instead of “K” to spell こころ).

Ahhh Cocoro Navi… I read the manga which was focused on the imouto Rin, and I quite liked it.

Rin is one of my favorite imoutos! She is especially cute in the game. I also love her design, mostly because of her crazy and unique hair style!

No new titles announced this week?

btw, how long the time you need to finish the trial version of Karumaruka*Circle and Cocoro@Function!? I need about 2-3 hours to finish the trial of Karumaruka*Circle.

Also, I already set my eyes on Koyomi in Karumaruka and Asagao in Cocoro. Maybe I will include them to my harem.

I think It took me about 5 hours to finish Cocoro@Function. It is this long (1.36 GB). There were many moments were I thought the demo was going to end, only to continue right after.

      • 6. Muhammad Wildianurahman  |  September 1, 2013 at 8:10 am

Wew, It’s about 2 times longer than Karumaruka*Circle to finish its trial. I’m sure that its (Cocoro@Function!) trial include prologue + common route. btw, Karumaruka*Circle is this long (885 MB).

        • 7. Micchi  |  September 1, 2013 at 1:14 pm

It took me about 4-5 hours as well, but the time flew by pretty quick. I wish there was more of the twins though…

        • 8. Muhammad Wildianurahman  |  September 1, 2013 at 8:41 pm

I thought you wish there was more of the hikikomori imouto.

        • 9. lurker  |  September 3, 2013 at 9:21 pm

File size has nothing to do with how long the trial is. Particularly when you’re dealing with modern games that are 720p, voiced, and feature effects pulled from movie-encoded files, and I think both of those titles have all of the above. Throw in the commonly used BGMs for the entire game and you’ve got over 500MB before even considering CGs or whether or not they’re using compression (VisualArts is notorious for having little to no compression of images, though it looks like this time SagaPla encoded their sprites in a smart way – from the file naming, each base is one image and all the faces for each base are also smashed into one image).

The actual text/code script for a full game usually doesn’t go over 50MB (that’s being conservative – probably closer to 20) for a REALLY long game, so for a trial that’s going to be super small compared to the rest of it whether it’s the full common route or just a few chapters.

I’m getting the feeling that Karumaruka*Circle will be more of a school life comedy, instead of a utsuge. Feels like gold star all over again >___>

    • 11. Muhammad Wildianurahman  |  September 1, 2013 at 7:10 am

The scenario writer isn’t Niijima Yuu, so most likely it’s possible. But we won’t know how it turn out later unless we play it until finish.

btw, is the prologue of Karumaruka*Circle only include the prologue of it or prologue + common route (In Karumaruka*Circle trial version)?

      • 12. Micchi  |  September 1, 2013 at 1:12 pm

It does feel like Kisaragi GOLD☆STAR a bit. The trial was just the prologue, so there wasn’t too much to go by.

        • 13. Muhammad Wildianurahman  |  September 1, 2013 at 8:39 pm

No wonder I feel the trial is short. The trial was just the prologue. No common route in it.

        • 14. lurker  |  September 3, 2013 at 9:35 pm

It didn’t even seem like the full prologue, unless they’re breaking their usual formula. Too bad if they are, because I liked how you could skip almost all of common route just by selecting “Start” instead of “Prologue” in previous games.

I liked it better than the Kisaragi trial, for what it’s worth. It did kind of seem like the new writers were trying to emulate HatsuSaku at times, but aside from that it had a lot more going for it than I expected it to. Nicole almost seems like the character Nozomu should’ve been (guess I’m not Nozomu’s biggest fan, though) and Shin was a fun character.

I’m finding myself more hoping that it won’t be a blatant HatsuSaku ripoff whenever it has the opportunity to be one than dreading a fluffy comedy like Kisaragi Gold Star. Just because they don’t go for a nakige/utsuge (“HAPPY and SMILE!” implies not) doesn’t mean it won’t have a compelling plot.

…but I’m not hyping myself too much.

        • 15. lurker  |  September 3, 2013 at 9:39 pm

Oh yeah and the beginning of the trial stunk of the writer from cabbit (and not in a good way), though maybe I read the trial for KimiSora too recently. And I guess I haven’t read Midori no Umi so it could be just a coincidence…

Anyway, something bothers me about the plot being introduced by having one of the heroines force it on the protag first thing in the story and just running with it from there, particularly when what you’re suddenly forced to run with is curses based on the seven deadly sins or the existence of ghosts.

Dang it, Cocoro@Function is postponed for another month =(
    I loved the trial
