A Big Thank You for a Little Milestone

Thank you everyone for helping this little blog of ours reach one million pageviews! It’s not something that I could have imagined when I started it just under three years ago. We hope to continue providing you with what you seek, whether that be imoutos or green text.

It’s been over a month since the last weekly news, so hang on tight cuz this is gonna be a long one.

The Getchu sales rankings for the first half of 2011 came out and it’s topped by Aiyoku no Eustia, Daiteikoku and Kamikaze Explorer!. Honestly I’m a little surprised at Damamuko ending up in 5th.

Ever wondered what it’s like going back to the past to play a game from the future? Well, I haven’t and I’m not sure why I asked it either, but Steins;Gate 8BIT is coming out on Oct 30th from MAGES with amazing graphics.

La’cryma‘s fortissimo gets an 18+ adaptation with additional scenarios: fortissimo EXS//Akkord:nachsten Phase. They’re affiliated with CIRCUS; They have to add things gradually.

Molamola.software continues the pantsu theme with Omae no Pantsu wa Nani-iro da!?. I guess that’s a slightly more creative title than NO PANTS!!… Old company Duke, which closed down in 2003, has been reborn as Blasterhead and will continue with their title Makki, Shoujo-byou.

MOONSTONE is always trying out new ways to present eroge. After delving with the iPhone and Twitter, now they’re releasing Imouto Paradise! on Android smartphones! And since it’s on Android, it means H is perfectly fine! Now you can do ichaicha with your imoutos anywhere! (Well, almost…)

Meanwhile, August is re-releasing trials of some of their older titles (Yoake and Fortune Arterial) which are compatible with Windows 7. Try them out if you haven’t before.

Visual fan books are coming out for Baldr Sky (August 5th) and Sora o Aogite Kumo Takaku (July 29th). The guidebook for Akihabara Dengekigai Matsuri consists of lots of swimsuit drawings from various participating eroge companies. It looks like they all have at least a C…

The Kicking Horse Rhapsody drama CD, “Sweet Booster Soine CD”, will be out at Dream Party on October 2nd. Also coming out is the opening album for SAGA PLANETS’ next title Hatsuyuki Sakura, “Sotsugyou Made ni Suki tte Iu yo”.

Basketball coaching game RO-KYU-BU! for the PSP will be out on October 27th. If you’re afraid that others will judge you, the PSP port of Canvas4, Eternal Étude Canvas4, will be out this fall too.

WAVE has 1/8 scale swimsuit figures of the three Love Plus girls (Manaka, Rinko, Nene) coming out in November, December and January, respectively. They cost ￥6510 each. You can also get a figma of Rinko from Max Factory in October for ￥3200. Griffon has 3 more 1/8 scale Touhou figures coming out: Satori (WonFes, ￥7000), Koishi (WonFes, ￥7000) and Nitori (October, ￥7400).

Even with ai sp@ce‘s recent demise, that still doesn’t stop other moe-based SNS sites from popping up. This time it’s the aptly named Moetopia, where you can create a onee-san or imouto ‘pia doll’ and show her off to others. I made an account there and got me an imouto, but not really interested in joining yet another community.

The past few weeks have been quite eventful: visiting friends overseas, starting a new job in a new city, taking care of myself including expanding my cooking repetoire (Sana will be proud), and trying to get internet installed (if only the techs would actually show up… grrr…). Anyways, I’m back and will be continuing the weekly news.

I had a lot of free time the past two weeks and took advantage of it by finishing Bra-ban! (including replaying Ebi’s route), Snow Drop ~first step in spring~ and Mashiroiro Symphony (including replaying Miu’s route). With Kotarou, Heavybell and relentlessflame all sending me pics and voice clips of Sana from the Mashifoni PSP game, I’m really wondering if I should be getting a PSP or not. I don’t think I’ll have the time for it to be worth it though…

Finally, I watched a bit of RO-KYU-BU!. Geez, elementary schoolers are the best!
