It’s nice to see Natsu no Ame getting recognition, along with Haruka na Sora getting runner-up prize in the fandisk category. Amamiso‘s win was probably all thank to Miyu. I’m planning on playing Sinsemilla later this year.
The following titles have been delayed:
Chizuru topped the 3rd Renai Saimin chara poll, continuing her unbeaten streak. New chara polls have started up for Bloody Rondo (until Jan 24th), Sekai Seifuku Kanojo (until Jan 28th), Ore no Tsure wa Hito de Nashi (until Jan 30th), Akatoki! (until Feb 7th) and Nekonade Distortion.
A true Idolm@ster anime adaptation (one that doesn’t involve mechas) is in the works! It will use the same seiyuus as the game. The main site will be opened on January 29th. Hope there’s plenty of screentime for the twins! のヮの
The live action movie for light novel Usotsuki Mii-kun to Kowareta Maa-chan will be in theaters January 22nd. The story is told by compulsive liar Mii-kun about his relationship with schoolgirl Mayu (Maa-chan), who was forced to kill her own parents 8 years ago during a kidnapping and now is psychologically unstable.
The PV to Subaru/Gainax collaboration anime Houkago no Pleiades is up. Looks and feels like a mahou shoujo K-ON!. The shape of the staff resembles the front of the Subaru.
Isn’t the jacket cover of the Madoka Magica OP single “Magia” a total spoiler? I knew there was something suspicious about that squirrel…
The AkabeiSoft2 5years Anniversary Song Collection from Differencia comes out January 31st, featuring songs from AB2 and all its sister brands (Shangrila, Applique, Akatsuki Works, WHEEL, Shallot, Team It’s). 37 songs split over 3 discs for 4200 yen is quite worth it.
The winners of Dengeki Bunko’s 17th Novel Prize will debut this February, including grand prize winner Shirokuro Necro (Takama Ryouto, illust. by Kimura Shigetaka). Yuuma is an extremely perverted 2nd year student who died, but didn’t want to leave this world since he hasn’t did it with a girl yet. With the help of a beautiful necromancer Yukiji, he is revived as a zombie and ends up with living with her.

No webclap this week. I’ve been playing through ALcot Citrus’ mid-priced game Shinigami no Kiss wa Wakare no Aji this past week. Shizuku isn’t the typical imouto, but I still love her very much even if she has a big ass. The resolution to Kohaku’s true end was quite unexpected. I guess it’s a happy end…???
As Zen had mentioned in his review, Yosuga no Sora was a let down due to the writing and pacing, even though Sora’s jealousy is top notch. The events were slightly different from the anime. Still got some time before Imopara and TPS, so I’m gonna start on Moshimo Ashita ga Harenaraba…
