Two years after the initial announcement, key’s Rewrite has been scheduled for April 28th. Personally, I’m not as hyped for it as I was for past key games, but we’ll see what other games come out in that month.
CIRCUS announced at their latest event that Suika II and D.C.III will come out in 2011. For Suika II, they’ll be bringing back both writers (Mikage and Kureichirou) and illustrator Nanao Naru who worked on the original game. Tanahara Natsuki will be doing the art for D.C.III, which will be directed by Ameno Chihare. More info will be included with D.C. Dream X’mas.
Kogado Studio have announced Smile Shooter, an all-ages idol-based game. It’ll be out sometime this winter.
Two new companies also have announced their debut games:
3rdEye‘s Bloody Rondo has been set for January 28th, while WHITESOFT’s Nekonade Distortion has been delayed to February 25th. I also just noticed the OP song for Nekonade Distortion is titled “Bullshit!! Hard problem!!”. Interesting.
Chara polls have started up for Hatsukoi Sacrament (until December 31st), Ore no Kanojo wa Hito de Nashi (until November 14th) and Sakura Bitmap (until November 11th). I’ll be voting for Hinata and Soujirou Yunoka.
Latest series to get anime adaptation include: no-pan manga Lotte no Omocha!, 4koma A Channel, and tennis comedy manga Sofuteni!. Pantsu anime Strike Witches is getting a movie, while Nanoha gets a 2nd movie. More info in the upcoming issue of Nyan-Type.
Hinako also makes a return with Hiyoko to teach you how to enjoy a bath in Isshoni Training 026 (Ofuro) (screenies at Moon Phase). The DVD will be in store on Christmas Eve, so make sure you get it and study closely!
Happy Halloween! Frontier Works and animate.tv have opened a mysterious project titled Halloween+Town.
The layout for the omnibus Yosuga no Sora anime looks like an eroge setup, with twincest as the finale.
The Bakemonogatari complete guide book is available from Kodansha at 3150 yen, with short stories for each character included. The Angel Beats! guide book will be out December 22nd.
For those who have read the Oreimo LN: They snuck in some cameos in ep4.
fortissimo is getting a manga adaptation called fortissimo//Ein wichtiges recollection. Serialized in the CompAce magazine starting with the December issue, it’s an original story focusing on Momiji.
Volume 5 of the Majikoi drama CD series come out December 3rd.
The original soundtrack for Oreimo comes out on January 12th for 3150 yen. I’m more interested in a vocal album if they make one.
Some new pics from Dengeki PlayStation ONLINE for the upcoming Oreimo Portable for the PSP. Ayase really is an angel, although I wonder what would happen in Ayase end (just a drawing!). I would love something along the lines of this for Kirino (Pixiv link). Is Saori going to have the guruguru glasses on all the time!?
Amagami and Kimikiss crossover for the PS2/PSP, Amagami (Ebikore+), has been set for a January 27th release. Meanwhile, AXL’s Princess Frontier is the latest eroge to be ported over to the PSP by Alchemist.
Well, this ought to brighten up someone’s day. Level 5 and Capcom team up to produce a Layton and Phoenix Wright crossover Professor Layton vs. Gyakuten Saiban for the 3DS. Anyone have an objection?
ALTER’s second version of Hyakka Ryouran‘s Yukimura changes the face to the anime version. Just like the previous figure, this is a mail-in exclusive via Hobby Japan. It’s priced at 8190 yen and will be out in March. White sukumizu banzai!
Nendoroid Nyamu-senpai Nemu by GSC will be out in March for 3500 yen. She comes with Utamaru and one of her faces is the one from the mini-game After Banana.
WAVE’s next Index Beach Queens figure is none other than Index herself. The standard version is 3990 yen and will be out in April, while the Dengeki exclusive is 4200 yen and comes out in May. She looks so much different when she’s not in her normal clothes.
Some K-ON!! mini-doll figures from Resinya! Cute Rate 23 series. Looks kinda stiff to me especially with the fixed facial expressions. If you’re gonna splurge on a doll (15,000+ yen), get a big one instead.
Oreimo‘s Kirino also gets a doll made of her by azone. This 1/6 scale doll stands 27cm tall and is priced at 12,600 yen. It comes out in January. Too bad she doesn’t come with the sauce.
I just noticed that the iRO website (and URL) is different now. I liked the old design more though; this looks kinda childish.
Milky Holmes have shown up in ai sp@ce.
I think this 3D fad is going too far. 3D markers? Really? I remember using those flimsy 3D glasses back in elementary…
I’ve been chatting with relentlessflame about different ways to import Japanese merchandise and he’s decided to write a 3-part series to help those who are interested in it. It’s quite insightful even if you already use this method of buying goodies straight from the soruce. Please check it out!
Decided to place an order for ALTER’s Koromo figure since it’s half-priced from AmiAmi. Koichoco and Papara♪ (Kisaragi) are on deck, but I need to finish off some posts first. Also, finished reading the first volume of Seitokai no Ichizon. For a self-proclaimed 90% gag 10% serious LN, it’s been hit and miss so far. Let’s hope it picks up in the next volume.
Hey Mich, is it weird for girls to love imoutos? ): by Nemuru
Of course it isn’t! Imoutos give off that ‘protect me oniichan’ feeling, so it’s absolutely natural that you would love them, regardless of your gender. Only if you’re someone like Zen would you not care for them. :)
Hey, what game do you have yet to play, eroge wise? Do you have a Skype? by Kitty
I’ll be playing either Koichoco or Kisaragi next. I also need to work on the Hoshikaka review. So much to do, yet not enough free time! I don’t have a personal Skype account. I usually just use MSN or IRC lately.
