Meteor has Returned!
Among the new games listed in this month’s issue of TECH GIAN are two games by Meteor: Margaret Sphere and Shiomizaki Gakuen Engekibu Koi Play ~Anata to Ichaicha Roleplaying!~. Does this mean Meteor is back!? As you already know, after Meteor’s closure, the majority of the staff moved to Comet, which produced &LOVE. There’s a rumor that this new Meteor might be affiliated with Silver Bullet, since Yuyi guest illustrated for ConSome. Regardless, I’m happy that the studio that produced one of the most well-known imouto routes (Yaya in Clover Point) is making a return.
Other new games announced include:
ALcot Honey Comb – Vestige ~Yaiba ni Nokoru wa Kimi no Omokage~
anisetta – 12+
CassioPeia – Gekitama! Seiryou Gakuen Engekibu
chorus – Okitsune-sama no Koisuru Omajinai
Dandelion – Dandelion no Chotto Kawatta Gakuen Mono
ETERNAL – Ten no Hikari wa Koi no Hoshi
Jellyfish – sisters ~Natsu no Saigo no Hi~ (May 28th)
KLEIN – Yuusha to Kimi ni Hanataba o
Lose – Gothic Delusion
Palette – Steal My Heart ~Rhapsody of moonlight~
anisetta, Cassiopeia, chorus and Lose are all new companies. The motif for 12+ is King Arthur. Jellyfish’s game is animated and I think it’s based on their previous sisters game from 2006. Is it possible for Palette to have a more diabetes-inducing game than Mashifoni? Just looking at the title for their next game (すてぃーる Ｍｙ はぁと) makes me really excited (and Zen cringe).
ALcot started up another chara poll for Osananajimi wa Daitouryou. I put in some votes for Remi again, but it seems like Eru is running away with it this time around, which is fine with me.
There’s too much BL in Crossdressing Days. The shock factor was well executed, but it leaves a foul taste. Why bother preordering when the heroines you like don’t actually get routes?
NekoNekoSoft has an update for NekoNeko FD3 that adds the ‘true survival mode’ for mahjong, which activates only after you have defeated 100 opponents in the regular survival mode. It also adds additional characters to the free play mode. I’ve only gotten to 40 so far…
The latest collaboration for ai sp@ce is with Touhou. You can get a cosplay outfit of Reimu, which also allows a special attack (looks like area of effect) during water gun battles. I like the art by 茨乃 (Shino).
The gameplay vid for Saki Portable makes me really want to get a PSP. I would love to use Captain’s special power… and Momo actually disappears!
The characters for Kogado Studio’s upcoming game Shirogane no Cal to Aozora no Jouou are now up on the main page. The game will be out this summer.
Since I haven’t been watching anime much nor do I have anything interesting to say for upcoming shows, I’m discontinuing the anime season posts. The sidebar widget will remain though. There’s plenty of previews out there, including Chartfag’s Spring 2010 poster. As for shows that caught my eye this spring, it would be Kiss x Sis, D.C. Ext, Shin Koihime Musou (Season 3) and K-ON!! (Season 2). There’s some hype around Angel Beats!, but I don’t really care much for it. It looks too much like Haruhi. Also, Sora no Otoshimono is getting a second season as expected.
Look at how beautiful the ∀brand 1/8 scale resin garage kit Mashifoni Airi and Miu figures are! They’re limited edition, sold only at Hobby Round 3 on April 18th for 12,000 yen each. The price is steep, but they look oh-so-cute! And there’s Panya too!!! Uryu!
Really cute pair of figures from Petit Jeuness, designed by Tinkle and Miyagawa Takeshi. The 15,000 yen price tag is not surprising considering the illustrator popularity.
Wanted to see Pandora Hearts‘ Alice in a maid outfit? Well, there’s a figure of that coming out in August. Be ready to shell out 10,500 yen for this 1/10 scale PVC though.
Koisora master up! 6 more days till it’s out! I finished up Hoshimemo FD last week, so I’m all ready for Koisora when it comes out ^o^
Sana Portable! : > by ココナ
Sana!!! I wonder how many new event CGs were in the PSP version.
What is your reaction to Cross Days being ACTUALLY released? by seele00
I was a bit surprised, but it was inevitable that it would be released after so many delays. I was more shocked at how the game actually turned out and of course at the ensuing comments. I wonder if Overflow was influenced by the increase in trap charas over the past year…
