Let’s Go Stargazing Again!
The much anticipated Hoshizora no Memoria Eternal Heart will be out on a packed January 29th! The focus will be on Yume and Mare. Of course, there’ll be more raburabu stories with the Tenkuru members (Does that mean no Chinami since she’s part of the occult club?). Mirai’s imouto, Ima, will finally appear! It was one of the mysteries remaining from the original game and I’m glad they’re taking care of this loose end. I can’t wait for this!
Continuing with the fandisks, NekoNekoSoft has announced NekoNeko Fandisk 3, a Sorairo fandisk which also contains characters from the past six years’ games (Scarlett, Sanarara, Lamune, 120yen no Haru). It’ll be out in January. Stories include 6 year old Ai-chan, Ero Hanako, Magical☆Tsubame and a Sorairo/Lamune joint story. Shukufuku no Campanella will also be getting a fandisk, along with the anime adaptation next year. Basically, it’s following the same pattern as Happiness!. Other new games announced in TECH GIAN are:
AkabeeSoft2 – OKIBA
biscotti – Floating Material Hoshi no Umareru Oka (January 29th)
Cotton Soft – Guratan
Gummy Soft – Shu ni Majiwareba Akaku Naru
light – soranica
Lilac Soft – Re:Seven

Purple Software – Natsu ni Kanaderu Bokura no Uta

The first chapter of ABHAR Tronc‘s Oujou Ibun: Kare ga Shinanakereba Ikenakatta Riyuu comes out on December 29th at Comiket 77 and in shops. Site opens on November 24th.

CIRCUS has updated the D.C.II Fall in Love website with the graduation set information, a list of all the characters in the D.C.II world and their relation chart, and a timeline of all events in D.C.II/D.C.II P.C., D.C.II Spring Celebration, D.C.II To You and D.C.II Fall in Love, as well as fandisks and drama CDs. It’s nice to see a concrete timeline, although I wish that Mahiru got more stories.
A bit more info about the new CIRCUS games via the official 10th anniversary report. The ‘V’ in D.C.V. stands for ‘vague’, which sounds really stupid. It will feature the Valkyrie Complex characters and takes place in between D.C. and D.C.II. Hatsunejima Mirai will be set 3939 years after D.C.II and the story will revolve around robots. D.C. Zero seems to be set in London and will be focused on Sakura’s story.
It seems that φâge‘s upcoming game Shapeshifter will have the same system as Warinaki. The play demo is up, but it seems a bit overdone on the powering up scenes. Also, since it’s the popular thing to do, go and try out the fortune telling.
Now that demo videos for Imouto Smile are up, the second chara poll is underway until November 30th. I still like Haruna (even though she finished dead last in the first poll), although Touka and Shiki are making my decision tough. The second chara poll for Otome Renshin Prister will start on November 20th and last till December 14th. Ranka won the first one. Silver Bullet is also doing a chara poll for their upcoming game Kachou Fuugetsu, a spinoff of Hanafubuki.
Matsuri won the Tropical Kiss chara poll by a wide margin. It seems they’ll run another poll later.
Impressive work by Hidaka Shinsaku in producing doujin anime Koisuru Nezumi. It is a touching tale of love between a mouse and cheese, complete with English voices and Japanese subtitles.
The iPhone/iPod version of OVERDRIVE’s Kira☆Kira will be available on November 20th. It will come out in both Japanese and English versions.
Good Smile Company‘s latest figure is Index from To Aru Majutsu no Index. It’ll be out in March at 7800 yen. The clothes are nicely done, but Index isn’t one of my favorites (not even close). So when does the Mikoto figure come out? Max Factory’s figma of Fate from Nanoha A’s is simple and isn’t that bad for 2500 yen.
More RWC2009 coverage: cosplay stage. I just noticed how skimpy most RO outfits are. Aco classes are still as popular as always.
Dakimakura covers are quite expensive, so why not make your own? And if you don’t know how, there’s now a guidebook that teaches you how to.
As a MoonStone fan, I highly recommend their Complete Illustrations collection (2800 yen) for all their games up to Majisuki, including Gift and Clear. Mitha’s beautiful works are prominently displayed.
So, I just found out that there’s an imouto cafe NAGOMI in Akihabara that greets patrons with “Okaeri Onii-chan!” and “Okaeri Onee-chan!” instead of the usual “Okaeri nasaimase goshuujinsama!”. Moreover, there’s a related 4koma about an imouto cafe by Yuzuki Ryouta titled Damekko Kissa Dear. You can check out a sample of it at the site. Iori-chan is so cute, especially when she tries to be tsundere! However, as Kaname-sensei points out… imoutos are fantasy! They aren’t the same in real life!

Bright smiles cheer up your day.
