I see split votes!

Golden Darkness (To Love Ru)
Katsura Hinagiku (Hayate no Gotoku!!)
Yuuki Mikan (To Love Ru)

This would’ve been a no contest even without the split votes.

Vote: Hinagiku
Prediction: Hinagiku
Winner: Hinagiku

Toudou Shimako (Maria-sama ga Miteru)
Hirasawa Yui (K-ON!)
Furude Rika (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni)

Yui has the slight advantage over Rika. Besides, Rika has already won once.

Vote: Yui
Prediction: Yui
Winner: Yui

Sakagami Tomoyo (Clannad)
Nishizawa Ayumu (Hayate no Gotoku!!)
Francesca Lucchini (Strike Witches)

Hamster got vote boosts in the first round since all the major factions had matches that day. Her vote tally will take a dip this time, but it should be enough to edge Tomoyo.

Vote: Ayumu
Prediction: Ayumu
Winner: Ayumu

Takara Miyuki (Lucky Star)
Miyanaga Teru (Saki)
Kushieda Minori (Toradora!)

It’s time for joke chars to leave.

Vote: Minori
Prediction: Minori
Winner: Minori

Maria (Hayate no Gotoku!!)
Ana Coppola (Ichigo Mashimaro)
Manabe Nodoka (K-ON!)

Maria gets an easy match. Is this still the Saimoe I know?

Vote: Ana
Prediction: Maria
Winner: Maria

Asahina Mikuru (Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu)
Kawashima Ami (Toradora!)
Aisaka Taiga (Toradora!)

Will split votes allow Mikuru to pull off another upset?

Vote: Taiga
Prediction: Taiga
Winner: Taiga

Shirayuki Mizore (Rosario to Vampire)
Shirai Kuroko (To Aru Majutsu no Index)
Nakano Azusa (K-ON!)

Kuroko doesn’t seem to be that popular and Azunyan has the edge on Mizore. Besides, Azusa is my top remaining favorite. Go Azunyan!!!!

Vote: Azusa
Prediction: Azusa
Winner: Azusa

Furukawa Nagisa (Clannad)
Ayase Yue (Negima)
Enma Ai (Jigoku Shoujo)

This won’t even be close.

Vote: Nagisa
Prediction: Nagisa
Winner: Nagisa

    Haha, F2-4 made me laugh.

Ha ha ha can Taiga survive… *i hope Taiga can win*

Oh well if no split vote, i am sure Mikan can upset Hinagiku because she top 16 last year… but Hina still fav to win…

The problem with that reasoning is that while Mikan was in the top 16, Hina was one of the final 4. Also, Hayate has gotten stronger this year.

Why dose there have to be a Split vote for not only Yami-chan and Mikan, but also Taiga and Ami. I think if there wasn’t a split vote, they would give Hinagiku a run for her money. I still can’t decide who to vote for out of the two.

I think my vote will go to Yami though
“memories of Black-Cat surface in my mind.”

P.S. I Luvs the new Banner, Haauuu!

I wouldn’t write off Lucchini just yet. Strike Witches is alot stronger than what people perceive.

I actually haven’t watched SW, but it just seems they’re a notch below HnG in the tourney. Not sure about a matchup with Clannad though. We’ll see…

I hope Yui gets demoned away by Rika.

Looks like Rika tried to pull off another miracle, but came in short. At least this time it looked like her fanbase tried to get her through rather than last year’s one vote loss to Haruka Minami where Rika’s vote count seemed awfully small for a Second Round fight.

I like it when it at least looks like the fanbase made an effort for the character. Mikuru’s match is just sad in comparison. Not even any effort put into her next to the Toradora meggas-split, nyoro~.
