Fresh Nendoroids from Comiket 77
Hi everyone it’s been awhile! In my last post, I showed some prototype Azunyan pictures, but now with Comiket 77 out, a completed version was unveiled. Now with the whole band finished up and colored, I can see my wallet flying out. Why is it so tempting to collect a nendoroid band? >_< Now I’m awaiting reservations for Azu-nyan.
Reimu & Marisa Mameshiki Figures
Liquid Stone recently started up their Mameshiki series for figures. This line of figures are high quality PVC which are chibified (1:2.5 proportion). Just like figmas, you can move them around so you can pose them anyway you like. The first two figures are Kirisame Marisa and Hakurei Reimu from Touhou. Release date will be in Spring 2010. Price isn’t known yet, but preorders start up on AmiAmi tomorrow. I really love the proportion; it makes them look so cute! The poses can be quite dynamic and the balancing is well done. It’s Liquid Stone’s first foray into making sd figma-style figures, but I think this is quite successful.
Figma Reimu and Nendoroid Marisa
A Touhou double from Good Smile Company this week as both the Reimu figma and Marisa nendoroid were announced. Both are scheduled for release in January 2010.
This is one the better figmas that GSC have produced. Not only is our favorite Hakurei Shrine miko rendered well, but the details are of high quality. There’s also many extras and that darake face is awesome. The price tag is actually a very affordable 2980 yen. She stands about 140mm tall. The figure stand is included.
Following the previous nendoroid of Reimu comes nendoroid Marisa. She stands 100mm tall and costs 3000 yen. I’m not as impressed with this one and there’s only two faces included. Nice if you’re looking to add to your Touhou collection.

「夢想夏郷」 A Summer Day’s Dream
The new Maikaze Touhou anime’s up on Niconico and Youtube already.
It was pretty entertaining. I’m still amazed that they got some great seiyuus even if the animation isn’t something to rave about. I love the OP and ED a lot.
Comiket 75
It’s that time of year again: when anime enthusiasts descend upon the Tokyo Big Sight for 3 days to search and destroy take home some spoils. As usual, there’s going to be thousands of doujins, games, music and other goodies available. Lots of illustrators and circles showcasing their art. All the eroge companies with lots of random goodies that I want. Again, I want to go. And once again, I can’t. Sigh.
Cirno’s Perfect Math Class
IOSYS’s latest creation revolves around Cirno‘s stupidity. Animation is by TETLA POT and the song is part of IOSYS’s latest album 東方氷雪歌集. I can’t say I’m an avid Touhou follower, but I like IOSYS’s renditions and some of the characters have grown on me.
