The arrival of spring can only mean the blossoming of new love and the return of D.C.. CIRCUS’ much-anticipated D.C.III R X-rated will allow you to get to know your fellow Kazami/Kazamidori Gakuen classmates much better. Make a girlfriend in hibiki works’ LOVELY×CATION or ASa Project’s Hitotsu Tobashi Renai (although beware of love triangles!). SLG enthusiasts will have their hands full with Eushully’s Madou Koukaku, while those looking for a little magic may wish to check out Yonaki Uguisu’s Unmei Yohou o Oshirase Shimasu. There’s something here for everyone!
A busy month full of somewhat almost borderline decent titles and a few probably so bad they will need warning labels for the potential health risks. Likewise there are a few games that perhaps by some miracle granted by the eroge gods will be blessed enough to bring about a diamond in the rough. In the end it could have been a better month and could have been much worse, after a winter drought of decent titles even some of the average games are starting to look better by the month.
I wonder if we’ll ever see a return to a more diverse anime package for a season. Besides Maoyuu, everything else is just there to fill up and drain those minutes of the day when you’re bored. In a way that’s not so bad, but it would better if I could just watch something that would remind me of why I started watching anime in the first place. Come on, how about more anime where the characters actually face a real crisis other than trying to make friends or the like >_O. Either way, these 3 minute anime shorts are a great way for me to entertain myself while waiting for a ranked game to start in league of legends!
Worst season in recent memory. Even the shows or well show I was looking forward to turned out to be a disappointment. Seasons like this are why I don’t pay as much attention to anime anymore. Sure it is more popular, but there just isn’t much worth the time anymore for this medium. I can only hope the piles of garbage anime helps kill off some of the excess popularity for the sake of emphasis on quality again.
Navel has announced a sequel to Tsurioto! Otome Riron to Sono Shuuhen -École de Paris- continues from the bad end and will feature imouto Resona along with two new heroines, Meryl and Bluette. It’s not a bad end when you end up with your imouto!
Release dates have been set for the following:
PeasSoft’s Shitsuji ga Aruji o Erabu Toki has been delayed to May 24th.
In three tightly contested chara polls, Imoban‘s Renge, Reminiscence‘s Axela and Eiyuu Senki‘s Billy the Kid came out on top. Renge and runners-up Mashiro and Kanako will highlight the upcoming H trial, while Billy the Kid will be getting a dakimakura. The short story for Kimisora‘s second chara poll winner Sekka is now up on Cabbit’s website.
New figures available for preorder include:
I’ll be heading off soon to Hong Kong and Japan for the next three weeks or so, so this will be the last weekly news until I’m back the second week of April. The April post will go up as scheduled, but it won’t account for any delays that are announced while I’m gone. I’ll still be on Twitter if you want to get a hold of me. The imoutos are waiting for me!
Do you miss Hatsukoi 1/1‘s Runa, Yukino and Kyou? Well, tone work’s has released two voice dramas which are quite worth listening to! You can listen to a normal day at Pizza Moon and a visit by Runa to Nono-nee’s room to read her stash of shoujo manga and do… other things.
GIGA’s Baldr Sky Zero has been delayed to July 26th.. New titles announced this week include:
Iris has announced a 3rd append data for Nainai, titled “Hazuki’s first dentist play”. Let me fill those cavities for you.

I’ll be quite busy the next few weeks finalizing my trip to Japan. I keep on getting distracted looking at food. There’s so much to eat…
This month is quite uninteresting as it seems like many companies are settling for an April release date instead. If it wasn’t for delays for games like COSMIC CUTE’s LOVESICK PUPPIES and UnisonShift Blossom’s Ryuusei☆Kiseki, we’d only be left with makura’s Himawari no Kyoukai to Nagai Natsuyasumi. Fandisks, adaptations and remakes round out the rest of this month’s titles.
The sheer number of titles delayed from previous months padded out the scanty ten or so actual releases just enough to make a list that can actually be called such. Not much of interest this month but that just gives us an extra month to work through all the February releases, yay.
YuzuSoft‘s next title will be Amairo＊IsleNauts! The story is set on the floating island Lyzerg, where the protagonist Tooru is a teacher at a girl’s school. It comes out July 26th and features Kiritani Hana as the donut-loving kemonomimi girl Masaki and Natsuno Koori as the shy itoko Airi. Airin is so mine! Her hair-down look reminds me of Sana. The SDs are really cute! Ah man, five months is way too long to wait!!

Hapymaher‘s Alice will help wake you up in this Google Play app.
SAGA PLANET’s Hatsuyuki Sakura claimed top place in Getchu’s bishoujo game awards 2012, followed by YuzuSoft’s DRACU-RIOT! and Pulltop’s Konosora. It also was voted best scenario and music, which I don’t have much problems with. minori’s Natsuzora no Perseus had the best graphics and ero (beating out various nukige). Windmill’s Witch’s Garden swayed voters in the system category with its E-mote system, while Minato Soft’s Majikoi S had the most popular OP, “Mecha Shinken SSS!“. Tsukioto‘s Luna won the character category, followed by Hatsusaku‘s “Bunny” Sakura and DRACU-RIOT!‘s
Erona Erina. Top imouto was Natsuperu‘s Ren, although my vote went to Kurafuta‘s Yae, who finished 17th. Congrats to all the winners!
