So I’m new to this site (bookmarked for future reference; never seen such a detailed vn review blog).
Been looking to buy Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete but after Himeyashop (or erogeshop for their adult-based visual novels) has indefinitely closed down, I’m rather stuck as to where I can purchase it.
So basically, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a well-reputed online store selling visual novels and shipping them overseas, while at the same time being competitively priced (notably, the one mentioned above)?
Cheers in advance.

Man. I’ve never really had the time to actually sit through and try to play the game. I’ve only gone to sagaoz and got the save file to look at pictures and enjoy the music. I mainly like VN for the art. I never use them to … you know. But I really recommend Front Wing’s Grisaia no Kajitsu. I loved it. Beautiful art, too.
Do you ever feel overwhelmed by your backlog? Last year, I had seriously, over 100+ eroge on my HDD, like 500-600 gigs worth. I thought I would never play half of them, so… I cleaned them off my hard drive, leaving like 10 that I really liked. But I realize that I want them back now because they were all individually special — I just couldn’t see that because I had too many.

I get how you feel
My HDD have too many eroge too
but i go by playing them one by one
then i cleaned them off my hard drive, leaving the few I really liked……
But then I realize that I want a few of them back now because they were special for the art or song
but i have to keep some GB for the eroge that are coming soon T^T
P.S i Love Grisaia no Kajitsu too, hear the ed song every day and happy there going to have a after story out next year :)

Can’t wait for Grisaia no Meikyuu. I see Grisaia no Rakuen for 2012 on vndb… o.o I haven’t seen any news of it on Front Wing, though.

Yeah, backlog is huge. I’ve been a bit more picky over the past year in what I put on the backlog. Mainly if there’s a character or story I’m interested in. I ended up playing a dozen of them over the course of this year, so who knows, maybe one day I might end up playing them.

Hey, Micchi.
I see there’s a handful of new start-ups since I left. Do you know of any that called it quits in the last couple of years?

Hey Red. Ah, I haven’t updated this page in a few months, I should do that…
The ones that are closed for sure are ABHAR, ALMA, AtuWorks, Littlewitch and RococoWorks. I’m pretty sure some others bit the dust too but just didn’t announce it.

The Abhar closing surprises me. Wonder if that was due to internal conflict rather than money trouble, because it looks like Trumple replaced them.
