Happy new year everyone! 明けましておめでとうございます！
That’s yet another year is in the books, having survived the end of the world. Well, I knew it wouldn’t happen since I played Owaru Sekai no Birthday this year. It can’t end when we still have such a huge backlog to clear. Anyways, I’ll give a short recap of the past year and see if I fulfilled my New Year’s resolutions for this year.
Well, that year passed by pretty quickly. Once again, I’ll give a short recap of the past year and touch upon my New Year’s resolutions. Let’s hope this year is full of imoutos!
Hi everyone, Micchi here~ As you’ve probably noticed with some delayed posts and reduced content in the weekly news in the past month, I’ve been quite busy with real life stuff. This is because I’ve decided to switch jobs, which requires me to move to Ottawa come July. With all the apartment hunting, packing and transitioning between the two jobs and cities, it has been quite difficult for me to find time to work on the blog and play games. I’ll also be on a nice boat for two weeks in Northern Europe starting next week. Going to meet a good friend of mine in Sweden that Zen knows too from the RO days.
Now you’re probably wondering how this will impact the blog. I’ll be taking an estimated month-long break, during which there will be no weekly news or release date updates. When I have the internet up and ready, I’ll first catch up on the release date backlog (some of this might be done between when I return from my vacation and when I move). Depending on when I get settled, it may be a bit before I start up the weekly news again. When they resume, they will be only focused on news related to eroge just like they have been lately. Don’t worry, the July post is pretty much done already and will be a go for July 1st. Monthly releases posts will continue, and Zen and nemuiwanko will still be working on the anime posts as usual. I’ve also decided not to blog the Saimoe 2011 tournament which is starting up in a few weeks.
Sana’s coming with me on the trip and no, you can’t ‘watch over’ my imoutos while I’m gone. If there’s any other questions, just let me know in the comments, via email, Twitter or IRC before I’m off on the 14th. Thanks!
(It’s actually a good thing that Koisora FD was delayed…)
Happy birthday Sana!! お誕生日おめでとー！！
Lots of homemade cookies for my favourite imouto! ♥
Happy new year everyone! 明けましておめでとうございます！
A new year means another year of new eroge to play and more imoutos to take home! I’ll quickly recap what happened in the past year and make my New Year’s resolutions.
After a 2 week delay since I just missed out on the last copy of Gekkou, the latest shipment of books has arrived! And it’s not a moment too soon as I just finished up the last light novel that I had previously (Galge no Sekai v3). This time around, I tried using BK1 instead of Amazon Japan due to cheaper shipping. On a shipment of about 17,000 yen, I saved about 4000 yen in shipping since BK1 calculates it on weight instead of per shipment/item like Amazon JP does. Not only that but I didn’t have to pay duties on my EMS shipment! And there’s also a points system and occasional vouchers. That’s more money in the bank for the next shipment.
Last week was the second anniversary for Hau~ Omochikaeri~! and we’ve only had the time to write up this post now. We’ll just take some time to reflect on the past year and show some site and visitor stats. Thank you for dropping by, whether you are a daily follower or a first time visitor.
Comiket 78 was held at Tokyo Big Sight this past weekend from August 13th to 15th. In this post, I’ll give you a collage of booth, figure, merchandise, bag and cosplay images from the event. Focus is on eroge characters and companies as usual. Check out the links at the bottom for more. Enjoy!
I love Amazon Japan. It’s a bit expensive, but it’s really quick. Got my latest shipment of manga and light novels barely 3 days after I placed the order. This was mainly since I finished up the five volumes of Oreimo and Dekotsun that I had and I needed something to read over lunch at work. So I decided to pick up a few new titles that peaked my interest.
It’s been almost 2 years since the last time I bought some manga, so I decided it was time to catch up on the series I was following and also to pick up some new series. I ended up dropping some series that I had lost interest in, like Negima! and Tsubasa, and picked up a few I had mentioned before in the blog, namely Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai, Dekotsun and Damekko Kissa Dear.
