Grinning Over Imoutos
Play videos for Imouto Smile are up on Citron Soft’s site. There’s a video of the trial play and also a normal scene and H scene for each of the 6 imouto. It seems that the lucky protagonist will be referred to as onii-chan, nii-san, nii-sama and… nii-nii. I’m having flashbacks of Satoko from Higurashi. After listening to Akiho, I’m convinced she’s the second coming of Chinami.
Cotton Soft will be announcing their 5th game soon. SAGA PLANETS will have some merchandise for their next game (in 2010) on sale at Dream Party Osaka this Fall.
Remember all that ruckus a few months back? Illusion has unblocked foreign IPs.
I forgot to mention that the Moege Award 2009 results were announced at Dream Party Tokyo. The winner was Shin Koihime Musou (BaseSon), followed by Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai! (Minato Soft), Twinkle Crusaders (Lillian), Baldr Sky Dive1 “LostMemory” (GIGA) and 77 ~And two stars meet again~ (Whirlpool).
Lump of Sugar is holding a chara poll for all characters from Nursery Rhyme, Itsuka Todoku Ano Sora ni and Tayutama. Mashiro is currently leading; chibi Mashiro is too cute. The second Sakura Tale chara poll will run till December 31st. Mikage won the first one.
The winning H scene for Sakura and Koyuri in IchaPri! is poolside 3H. The currently running poll is for Tsubaki and Yuzuna. Choices are office cosplay 3P, china dress 3P in public or Tsubaki getting punished by Yuzuna and her onii-chan at school. I guess I’ll go with the china dress…
Japan won RWC2009, followed by the Philippines and Thailand. iRO managed to place 4th. Korea fell in the second round even though it had a bye, probably because of the mechanics change and 3rd class implementation. Dengeki has full coverage of the event: rounds 1&2, semifinals and finals. I’m quite surprised that iRO actually did pretty well… then I heard the team was pretty much all Pinoy.
Max Factory made quite the revealing figure for ToHeart2’s Tamaki. This 1/6 PVC figure will be out in April at 8800 yen. Akiba Hobby has a review up for it. I really don’t like how the hands were crafted.
Saki DVD vol7 comes with a Yumi x Momoko dakimakura cover. Not so stealthy there, Momo.
Busy week for me. Only played 15 mins of Mashifoni… Sakuno… (・∀・)ニヤニヤ
My boyfriend is the president. This brings new meaning to political affairs.

Return of the Lolipedofin
Newly announced games this week are:
ABHAR – Ushinawareta Mirai o Motomete
BasiL – Rebirth ~Kioku e Tsumugu Rinbukyoku
Concerto – Oborokomachi
Lapis Lazuli – Areas ~Koisuru Otome no 3H~
Lime – Petapeta
Nel – Narikiri Ba-Couple (January 29th)
Shallot – Happy Wardrobe
Sprite – Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate
Concerto, Shallot and Sprite are all new companies. I’ll be keeping my eye on Sprite since their art is very pretty. Shallot is a sister company of the AkabeeSoft2 brand. Rebirth will be a full game of Rondo -O-va-chua- from Mogitate BasiL!. August will be also be announcing a new game later this winter.
TailWind/TailSkid announced that they were closing earlier this week. While I didn’t play their games, Trample on Schatten!! did get some good reviews.
Release dates have been set for the following games:
Ohimesama wa Banterareo – January 22nd
Kagura Gakuenki – January 29th
Oni Mari. – January 29th
Puara! – January 29th
Tenkuu no Yumina FD – January 29th
BaseSon’s Shin Koihime Musou Desktop Mascot ~Itsudemo Issho~ package will be coming out on December 25th.
TSUKASA’s EternalSky has been delayed a month to December 18th. The November list is looking very empty.
Since a lot of chara polls wrapped up this week, I’ll just quickly list them.
Coμ – Yoruko
Hapitora – Aina
Hime x Hime – Nanami
Imouto Smile – Shiki
Akatsuki Works Hibiki is holding a chara poll for upcoming game Shiden until November 14th. MOONSTONE Cherry is holding H scene polls for IchaPri!. The current one is Sakura and Koyuri (until November 4th). NekoNekoSoft is accepting suggestions for the Sorairo fandisk on their BBS. I just want more Ai-chan!!!
Suzunone Seven! will be ported to PS2 in March by Alchemist as Suzunone Seven! ~Rebirth knot~. There will be two new heroines introduced. Alchemist is also releasing a new game called No Fate! -only the power of will- for the PSP and Xbox 360. It comes out February 25th.
Good Smile Company is releasing a pair of figures for the Nanoha movie in January. First up is a mini Nanoha nendoroid for 3500 yen. The second is a Fate figma for 2800 yen, although it’s by Max Factory and the quality isn’t that good. Nanoha is adorable though ><b
A closer look at the mini Higurashi figures from Takara Tomy Arts that are part of the promotion for Higurashi Daybreak Portable MEGA Edition for the PSP. They cost 300 yen each and there’s rare versions too!
It seems like mini figures are really popular. Bandai Collectors has some really cute K-ON! figures for 500 yen each. The stand at the back looks awkward, but it’s fine from the front. My favs are Yui (stage ver), Azunyan and Ui. MOVIC is also releasing a 1/8 scale PVC original costume Mio figure. It’ll be out in January with a 7140 yen price tag. I like the design; they made good use of that zettai ryouiki.
Kotobukiya’s latest figure is a 1/10 scale PVC of Charlotte from Quartett!, an eroge by little witch which came out a few years ago. The design is relatively simple and the 3990 yen price tag reflects that. It’ll be out in February. They are also releasing a 1/8 scale PVC figure of my favorite character from Koihime Musou – ‘hawawa strategist’ Shuri! It’ll be out on February 28th at 5040 yen. She comes with her signature fan and you could take her beret off if you want (although why would you!?) はわわ!
The latest collaborations at ai Sp@ce are with NekoNekoSoft (Sorairo) and BaseSon (Koihime Musou – Shuri outfit). They keep on partnering with titles I like, but unfortunately it’s basically just a dress-up game. And they want you have to pay for it.
The GungHo Festival 2009 will be running this Sunday in Yokohama and it’s free to enter if you’re in the area. Flagship titles Ragnarok Online, Emil Chronicle Online and Grandia will be represented. The main event is the Ragnarok World Championship 2009 (RWC2009) which is held in Japan this year after being held in South Korea and the Philippines in past years. I’m not sure if any of my ex-guildies will be there, but good luck to the iRO contingent. They’ll need it.
In case you didn’t know how to masturbate…
Innovation at its best.
It took a while, but the company site listing has been updated. Please feel free to use this as a resource.
I hope you’re all having fun with this month’s releases. I’ll probably be starting up Shuffle! Essence+ in a few days. Wait for me, Daisy! November is looking really light, so you’ll have plenty of time to work on your backlogs ^^

Dream Party: Aim for the Harem Route!
Dream Party 2009 Tokyo will be held this Sunday at the Tokyo Big Sight, with almost all companies attending it. There was a lot of news in the eroge world this week as companies prepare for this major event.
From this month’s issue of TECH GIAN comes a bunch of new game announcements. The main one (as Kres had already pointed out) is the RPG fandisk Tenkuu no Yumina -ForeverDreams-, with Nayuta as the main heroine. It’s scheduled for a winter 2010 release. Other games are:
AXL – AXL006 (no title yet)
LOVERSOUL – Green Strawberry
PeasSoft – Ama Ane (Spring 2010)
There’s also a mysterious game titled Taiyou no Ko, featuring staff from AkabeeSoft2, GIGA, CandySoft, among others. More news on this will come out in 2 months.
Windmill will also announce a new game next month. Lime plans to reveal their next game at Dream Party.
New release dates this week include:
Fake Azure Arcology – December 17th
Dies irae ~Acta est Fabula~ – December 25th
Hana to Otome ni Shukufuku o Royal Bouquet – January 29th
RUNE LORD – January 29th
Yunibaru! Paranormal Girls Strike!! – January 29th
KOI-LABO. – February 26th
The following games have been delayed:
Natsuiro Penguin – November 27th
Manaka de Ikuno!! – December 18th
PARA-SOL – February 19th
se.Kirara – March 26th
φâge opened the official site for Shapeshifter. It’s quite a change from their previous work, Owaranaki Natsu Towa Naru Shirabe. Taking a look at the seiyuu… isn’t this basically the same cast!?
There’s a seiyuu change for Erika in D.C.II Fall in Love. She is now voiced by Tamiyasu Tomoe instead of Ishikawa Yoshiko.
The last part of Leaf’s Manaka de Ikuno!! fandisk is Mananatsu, a 3D after story for ToHeart2’s Manaka. Iincho’s so cute >_<
Navel blocked foreign IPs for all of one day. Wonder what that was about. Anyways, there will be 12 endings for SHUFFLE! Essence+ and some routes (like Daisy’s) will not be open at the very beginning. Rumors has it there’s a bonus if you finish the entire game.
For Accany and Algester: The trial for Innocent Grey’s Caucasus is now available. Enjoy! For Hemi-tan: One part of Alice 2010 fandisk is something called Haruka vs Escalayer. Interested?
More info about the story for Citron Soft’s Imouto Smile has come out. Some rich kid who lives alone sees a cute girl outside and thinks that it would be nice if she were his little sister, and then she comes to his door and announces that she is. What? I didn’t expect much of a plot, but this is pretty bad. Looking at the H scene dialogue, it seems more like a nukige than one based on a story. I’m highly disappointed since I wanted a good story with lots of imouto meromero.
If I wanted to play a nukige, it’d be MoonStone Cherry’s IchaPri!. They recently added a special page detailing all the H stuff. There’s plenty of 3P and even a harem route. Sugisaki would be happy.
Miru won the second &LOVE chara poll. You can download a commemorative wallpaper off Comet’s site.
The chara poll for Tropical Kiss has started up with Matsuri and Hotaru currently in the lead. You can vote once per day until November 5th. There’s also a chara poll for Sugarcoat Freaks, although it doesn’t seem like there’s an end date. I guess it’s until the release date on December 18th. Green Strawberry also has a chara poll even though it was just announced. It runs until November 9th. Sakurako is really cute ^^
Battler won the first chara poll on 07th Expansion for Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru. Beatrice placed second. In announcing the results on the blog, Ryukishi07 also broke news that long-time 07th Expansion staff member and close friend BT-san passed away due to illness. His post was really touching. RIP.
Studio Ryokucha has an interesting poll running on their Koiiro Sora Moyou blog. If you could change your past, to which point in time would you return to? Personally, I would repeat my high school days and then complete university again, but without falling into the trap known as MMOs. Of course, that depends on if you retain your memories so you don’t make the same mistakes. Hindsight is always 20/20.
It’s the 10th anniversary for NekoNekoSoft (although they took a 3 year break in the middle) and they will hold a poll regarding the Sorairo fandisk next week. I’m almost done Ai’s world in Sorairo and I really loved Ai’s route. Kenji and Ai are the best siblings ever!
Latest goodies from Good Smile Company are charms of the really cute Pylori Miku and Pylori Rin and cathead Toet. These 30mm tall charms come out in January, at a price of 500 yen each. Their latest PVC figure is Hayakawa Yuzuko from Yuzuko Peppermint. It comes out in March at a price of 9800 yen, with a drama CD and booklet. I haven’t heard of this manga before. The chain and movement is nice, but I don’t like the blue/white hair. The next nendoroid is Magical Marine Pixel Mari-tan’s Jiei-tan, scheduled for March at 4500 yen for the special edition (3500 yen for normal).
Kotobukiya’s latest Strike Witches figure is of Lynette Bishop, with a January released date and a price tag of 7140 yen. I’m still not fond of those legs.
There will be a Saber figma packaged with the upcoming PSP game Fate/Extra. Looks ok, but not the best Saber figure out there.
The OP for Higurashi Daybreak Portable Mega Edition is out. Hauuu~ Chibi charas are adorable!
Currently running anime that now have console games include: Sora no Otoshimono (PSP) and Seitokai no Ichizon (DS). I wonder if SoraOto will be a flying game. Please make Sei☆Zon a VN!!!
Speaking of SoraOto, people were so moved by the 2nd episode’s ED that they tried it out. Beautiful.
Dengeki Moeou releases an illustration collection every season and the theme for this winter is bandages (ばんそうこう). Mini-figures of the To Aru Majutsu no Index cast will accompany the upcoming issues of Dengeki Daioh.
“Nakeru! Bishoujo Game Goroku” (1260 yen) by PHP Kenkyuusho offers famous quotations from nakige (games that make you cry). key’s works are definitely included, along with Da Capo, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, Fate/stay night (although this isn’t really a nakige), Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku o and Kazoku Keikaku. Samples can be seen off Akiba Blog. I’ve always loved nakige for their stories. A ranking on Niconico listed AIR as the top nakige as of July 2007. What do you think is the best one now?
Majisuki and Sakura Sakura have visual fan books coming up. I still find them a bit on the expensive side.
Pizza Hut supports Railgun. I’m very interested in that double roll.
I laughed at George not being on the cover of his own Umineko character album. The guy can’t catch any breaks.
PonyCanyon released a sound CD called NaviKano ~Omukae ni Kichatta~, where you can choose between a ladylike osananajimi or a tomboyish imouto to be your raburabu guide as you journey from the Tokyo Big Sight to Shinbashi station. The tracks are coordinated with the stations on the Yurikamome. This is a brilliant idea.
Really really cute Yunocchi USB bundled with the Hidamari Sketch x365 Special DVD.
I know I’ve mentioned Kagabuu before, but I find it too funny not to post more pictures of her.
Sorry for the lack of posts this week, I’m quite busy IRL. I’ll try to keep the weekly news on Friday, but there might be times when it’s pushed back to Saturday or Sunday.

Sorairo Fandisk in the Works
HOOK is planning to release a short FairlyLife fandisk Yorikorimakuri at Comiket 77 this December. In their latest 4koma, NekoNekoSoft has also declared that they’re working on a Sorairo fandisk.
The following games have release dates set:
Hoshi Uta ~Starlight Serenade~ – December 25th
CureFull! – January 29th
Harukazedori ni, Tomarigiri o. 2nd Story – January 29th
id -Rebirth Session- – January 29th
Mahonyo! – January 29th
Skyprythem was pushed back one week to October 30th.
The OP to eufonie’s Hidamari Basket is up and I’m already quite looking forward to the game, especially Kasuga’s route.
SMEE has started up the Love Delation! chara poll. It lasts till November 20th. Nanaka placed first in the Nega0 after release chara poll. There’s a commemorative wallpaper available for download. The total vote count seems pretty low.
I recently read a review of light novel Dekotsun off JITSU’s blog. Oh man, Kokoa is so adorable and their relationships sounds as beautiful as Kenji and Ai’s in Sorairo. I should pick this up next time I buy manga.
There’s lots of hype about the upcoming PS3 game Ar Tonelico 3. It hits shelves January 28th.
The Fate series now has a PSP game with the introduction of Fate/Extra.
ALTER is releasing a 1/7 scale PVC figure of Shamal from Nanoha StrikerS. She comes with puppy Zafila. Release date is March 2010 and it’ll cost a whopping 10290 yen.
Orchid Seed will release a 1/7 scale PVC figure of Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica’s Corticarte in January 2010. Standing around 22cm tall, it’ll cost 7800 yen.
Kaito nuigurumi from Gift actually looks pretty nice. It has a November release date and a 3675 yen price tag.
It seems that mini-figurines of the student council girls from Seitokai no Ichizon in bloomers will be made by Fujimi Shobou. They’ll tentatively come out in May 2010, with a total cost of 2980 yen. I hope they look nice. Kurimu~
No webclap responses this time around. It’s been a hectic week for me.
For some reason, CandySoft made a dance for the TsuyoKiss series. It’s actually pretty well done.

Shinobu’s Too Cute to be a Girl
Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! Koiiro Sora Moyou has been pushed back almost 5 months to March 26th ;__________; That’s a long time to wait for Mikoto-chan and Aya-chan >_<
Escu:de’s Otome Renshin Prister has also been delayed to December 18th. XUSE’s Seirei Tenshou has been set for December 18th, while AXL will be announcing their latest game shortly.
Otome game maker Sanctuary’s latest game is MIYAKO, set in feudal Japan. DCGS also is getting a PSP version, which includes a new scenario.
The next game by all-ages VN company Kogado Studio is Usotsuki to Inugamitsuki. It comes out on November 20th. Not really interested in this one.
Bloomhandle is running a chara poll for Hapitora until October 23rd. You can vote once per day.
Yoake Mae Yori Ruriiro na Portable will be a PSP port of the PS2 version of the original game by August. It’ll be out in February 2010. Sekirei is also getting a PS2 adaptation on October 29th.
Dengeki Chara Festival 2009 was held last weekend (10/03~10/04). You can find pictures of the signed illustrations, cosplay and the general layout off Dengeki and Galkko. The Ita-G Festa 2009 for itasha was also held on October 4th. I’ll make a post about this later.
New PVC figures this week are CM’s Haruka from Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, Kotobukiya’s Sakuya from Sister Princess and Jun from Happiness!. Jun counts as a ‘legend girl’? Anyways, all three come out in January 2010.
As you know, depending on what store you buy games from, you will receive slightly different telephone cards and other ‘bonus’ merchandise. Well, I think almost everyone will want to get Kiss to Maou to Darjeeling from Medio now because of their special teleka of Shinobu… hadaka-apron style. The full list of teleka for the game is available from Marmalade. There’s even two versions: the second one seems even more risque than usual! こんな可愛い子が女の子のはずがない!
Three years and 1.5 series too late, but Haruhi is getting a movie. “Kyon-kun, denwa”?
From the makers of such popular titles as CLONNAD, Suzumiya Hahiru no Yuuutsu, Higurashi ga Naku Koro ni comes Keionbu. All of them are actually AVs (adult videos) by Total Media Agency (TMA), which copy the scenes in the first episode of each of their respective series… while adding mindless sex. Why am I mentioning this when almost everything is awful about it? It copies basically everything, right down to the ED. Since listening to emotionless voices is not entertaining, check out the side-by-side comparison with the original sound and video: Part 1; Part 2.
Researchers in UK discover that “sisters spread happiness”. I knew this all along.
I tried out the Love Death 4 demo. It is so wrong. Did they spend all the time rendering the girl and forgetting about everything else?
Taiga sure is doing well in both Best Moe (finals) and Saimoe (semifinals). I guess it’s the year of the tiger?
Happy Turkey Day for all the Canadians out there!

Remembering a Great Artist
PangYa illustrator Seedark (SeeD) passed away yesterday at only 29, first reported by ESTi. His art was among the most beautiful I’ve seen. RIP.
Newly announced games include:
ABHAR tabby – Boku no Ikiteiru Sekai
CIRCUS – Magical Box 2009 (Winter Comike)
CLOCK UP – Iyasare Gohoushi (December 11th)
Debo no Su – Kaguya Gakuenki (December 18th)
The following games have been delayed:
Gengetsu no Pandora – December 25th
Doinaka Channel 5 – January 29th
CIRCUS recently updated the official site for DC II Fall in Love with information about the various after stories. Kya~ Mahiru and Miki double date, just like they promised!!! There’s also some stories from the drama club and some ‘ultimate battle’.
Leaf added some info about their upcoming amusement disk Manaka de Ikuno! One part will be ‘3D’ dungeon RPG Final Dragon Chronicle: Guilty Requiem, featuring the ToHeart2 cast. Hemi-tan should be interested in knowing that there’ll also be reward CGs for defeated enemies.
It seems like twin sister Akiko will be a heroine in Hana to Otome ni Shukufuku o Royal Bouquet. Makes sense considering she won the chara poll… as a subchar.
At the top of the Flyable Heart creative merchandise poll results is the H illustration collection. It seems fans haven’t gotten enough ero. Also, they haven’t gotten enough scolding, since Mayuri’s scolding CD took 3rd and the alarm clock was tied for 9th. The teacher’s tie was tied for 79th (49 people wanted it).
Doujin maker Easy Game Station announced their latest game Territoire, a 3D fantasy SLG.
Popular doujin eroge Himawari by blank-note will be ported to the DS, as well as adapted for the manga. I still haven’t gotten around to playing this…
Upcoming PSP games include 11eyes CrossOver (December 24th) and Twinkle Crusaders Go Go! (April 29th). The Twinkle Crusaders adaptation will feature many guests, including FH’s Yui, Toradora!’s Taiga, Shakugan no Shana’s Shana and Ichigo Mashimaro’s Ana.
Latest PVC figure from Good Smile Company is WHITE ALBUM’s Ogata Rina. Scheduled for a January release, this will cost 6500 yen. Not really interested in this one.
The PV for huke’s Black Rock Shooter looks pretty good, especially the action scenes.
The Angel Beats official website for the anime and light novel has been updated. She still looks a bit like Haruhi.
Marmalade has been airing minimini dramas for Kissmao. Zero, is that you!?
The latest radio drama for Koisora on Onsen was pretty funny. 「ツンデレ妹の秘密。今日だけはお兄ちゃんの奴隷なんだからね...」
Gamers recently did a renewal of their main store in Akihabara. You can see pictures of the new look here.
Assorted goodies for me to drool over: Sana pillowcase and Shuri pocketwatch.
It’s down to the final four in the Korean Best Moe tournament. Only Taiga, Azusa, Ushio and Kagami are left. Coincidentally, the Taiga vs Azusa match will be running at the same time in Saimoe and Best Moe.
I’ve been pretty busy lately with stuff IRL. I’ll try to finish up Suzunone Seven in the coming week. No time for ECO, although my interest has been waning anyway.
Rosa Musou is absolutely awesome. Too bad it’s just a trial version.

Imouto Smile Seiyuu Announced
This week has been slow because of Silver Week. No much is happening aside from the Akiba Game Fair tomorrow. It is a gathering of anime and eroge companies in Akihabara to hold events, promote their products and sell original merchandise.
Release dates have been announced for Pia Carrot e Youkoso!! 4 (December 18th) and Tsukisome no Kasa (January 29th). Hidamari Basket has been delayed to December 11th. The character intros also have been added and Kasuga is absolutely adorable >_<
Citron Soft has revealed the seiyuu for Imouto Smile:
Touno Haruna – Fujimori Yukina
Namisawa Natsuki – Aoba Ringo
Nishizawa Akiho – Sasa Rumiko
Kitasato Touka – Ogura Yui
Nonaka Shiki – Kazane
Tsukino Koyomi – Shindou Mayumi
I didn’t expect Agumi Oto to be in the cast, but this is a nice alternative. The choice of Ogura Yui as Touka is a bit interesting though. Also, the chara poll has begun and lasts until October 18th. I’ll be voting for Haruna. She’s way too cute.
Sakuno won the Mashiroiro Symphony chara poll. Panya came in second, surprisingly. Speaking of unexpected results, Joseph is currently sitting 3rd in ALcot’s president election. No more Christmas!!! ファイトエル、レミ!ロリっ子はそんなに弱くないんだからっ!
Upcoming PSP games are Tokimeki Memorial 4 (December 3rd), MagusTale Eternity (December 14th), Akaneiro ni Somaru Saka Portable (December 17th) and Senjou no Valkyria 2 (January 21st). It’s been a while since the last Tokimemo.
The visual guidebook for Primary came out last week on the 17th. Hooray for more Lolim goodness.
Nuigurumi have been made for Amane, Riho, Rui and Setsu from Dream Club. I’d rather get a figure or a real plush instead of an UFO catcher doll though.
Volks/∀-brand is releasing some figures and mecha from Baldr Sky. The figures look pretty bad though. There’s no way I’d pay 10000 yen for those.
Kotobukiya made a figure of Kobato from CLAMP’s Kobato, which will be on air this fall. The figure costs 5040 yen and will be out in December.
Hina fans, get your Hina dakimakura here! This should help comfort you from her recent Saimoe loss to Yui.
The latest addition to Lycee’s TCG cards are the girls from Tenshin Ranman. Are TCGs that popular over there? Then again, I’d rather look at a picture of a moe heroine than some ugly beast. Sanaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!
News specifically for some people: Innocent Grey has released the OP for Caucasus.
Some things are needless.

Flood of New Titles
There’s a lot of new titles that have recently been revealed. It took me a while just to go through them all. The majority do not have game sites up yet since they have not be ‘officially’ announced yet.
AkabaeeSoft2 Try – Oresama no RagnaRock
ApRicoT – Yunibaru! Paranormal Girls Strike!!
ASa Project – Acchi Muite Koi
Catear – Koigoromo ~Mazu wa Kore Kite~ – November 20th
GIGA – bitter smile.
Hecate – Ohime-sama wa Banterareo
Leaf – White Album 2
root nuko – id -Rebirth Session-
SofthouseChara – Ninryuu
TEATIME – Love Death 4
WHEEL – Hinomaru
The following are prequels, sequels, spinoffs and fandisks:
AliceSoft – Alice 2010 – December 18th
DisAbel – School Love! 3 ~Mirai e no Allegretto~ – December 4th
ensemble – Hana to Otome ni Shukufuku o Royal Bouquet
GIGA – CureFull! (CheerFull! sequel)
Leaf – Manaka de Iku no!! Leaf Amusement Soft Vol 5 – November 27th
Silver Bullet – Kachou Fuugetsu (Hanafubuki spinoff) – December 18th
SkyFish – Harukazedori ni, Tomarigi o. 2nd Story
I’m sure m3rry is very happy that he can enjoy another installment of Love Death. Hinomaru will be another gag and moe love ADV similar to Daiuchuu no Hokori. ASa Project and Catear’s games both have crossdressing protagonists. Hecate’s title is an ADV with kemono-kko ojousamas. That’s going to end well.
Leaf’s fandisk includes heroines from ToHeart2, Utawarerumono and Megiddo, among others. They also have a 3d mini-RPG and Manaka 3D ADV. I’m quite curious about this. Hemi-tan will be happy to know AliceSoft’s fandisk will include a Beat Blades Haruka ‘if’ story. Kachou Fuugetsu will a story focused on Anzu.
Release dates have been announced for these games:
MaiKuro – October 30th
Imouto Smile – November 27th
Soukai no Valkyria – December 4th
Caucasus – December 11th
D.C. II Fall in Love – December 18th
Icha Puri! – December 18th
Mercuria – January 29th
Ah, three titles I have been looking forward to have their dates set now. I’m highly interested in how Imouto Smile turns out. Is there such thing as too many imouto? Hey Algester: Caucasus ^_~
After months of voting, Muv Luv Alternative placed first in Galge.com’s best eroge poll. Getchu’s poll for July titles has 77 first, followed by Kittosumi and Natsunagi.
Tsuntsun imouto Mikoto is first again in the latest chara poll for Koiiro Sora Moyou. Aya’s popularity went up a lot from the last poll. The top subcharacter is Sera’s best friend Yuuki (who I voted for) with almost half the total votes. Go Yukki-!
The winner of the &LOVE chara poll is Miru! That’s not surprising at all. Hinako won the Angel Navigate chara poll. I wonder what Koharu placed at…
New figures from Banpresto include Umineko’s Jessica and a swimsuit version of Higurashi’s Rena. They are available in March and February 2010, respectively. はぅ~かぁいいだよ、だよ!
Kotobukiya 4-Leaves is reaching back to the past and made a figure of Kaho from Sister Princess as part of its Legend Girls series. The figure itself isn’t that great, but man, I’m overcome with nostalgia. Onii-chama~
Every mascot chara must be made into a stuffed animal. Next up: Hans from Valkyria Chronicles.
Time Leap Paradise is up to patch v1.51… I wonder if they’ll finish patching by the time the Hoshi Uta fandisk comes out…
Hau~ Omochikaeri~! passed 200k hits yesterday. Thanks for all the support! I’ve been quite busy lately, so I haven’t had time to draw something for the occasion. When I have time, I’ll post something ^^

Yes We Can!
As you all know, October is full of highly anticipated titles (at least for me). After watching the trailer movie for ALcot’s Osananajimi wa Daitouryou (at the bottom of this post), I definitely want to play the game now! It is one of the best trailer movies I’ve watched and made me laugh all the way through. What’s with the overdramatic English narration!? They’re also holding an election on the official site, similar to a chara poll. I’m not sure who to vote for, but… ちっちゃいは正義ですの!
New company skysphere is debuting with Tsubasa o Kudasai on December 18th. No official site is up yet. FrontWing has also announced fandisk Hoshi Uta ~Starlight Serenade~. There are also extra scenarios available for Kagura Douchuuki for 1500 yen each beginning on September 18th. I’m not sure about the length of these.
The following games have been delayed:
Natsuiro Penguin – October 30th
Usodere! – December 18th
Doinaka Channel 5 – Early 2010
PULLTOP’s Christmas-themed Shirokuma Bell Stars finally gets a release date of November 27th. I remember it was announced last Christmas. SCORE’s Zettai Maou will be out on Christmas day, December 25th.
Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica After School is being released by ocelot on December 18th. It’ll be an all-ages kinetic novel at 3800 yen. The game is set between game episodes 3&4 and the light novels.
MoonStone has revealed the answers to the Ichapuri! seiyuu quiz. I didn’t get any right.
Tenjouin Yuzuna – Kaibara Elena (WLO – Arisa)
Tenjouin Sakura – Minase Saki (Warinaki – Kanon)
Tenjouin Koyuri – Himekawa Airi (FA – Shiro)
Wakatsuki Sumireko – Chatani Yasura (FH – Kururi)
Kagurazaka Tsubaki – Arisugawa Miyami (Like a Butler – Kanade)
Misaki Futaba – Enokizu Mao (Sara Sara Sasara – Saori)
ApRicoT and SkyFish will be announcing new games in the near future.
CIRCUS has started up the official game site for D.C.II Fall in Love. I want to play Mahiru’s after story!
Studio Ryokucha is holding the second chara poll for Koiiro Sora Moyou. This time you can choose one heroine and one subcharacter. I still can’t decide between Aya and Mikoto.
The chara poll for Mashiroiro Symphony is underway, until September 23rd. I’m torn between Sakuno and Ange…
Ogura Yui is tipped as imouto Haruna in White Cyc’s Kurogane no Tsubasa.
The game box for Haruka na Sora is extremely well done. I want the stuffed bunny!!!
Broadcast schedule has been released for Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu Purezza. More delicious imouto Mika-chan. Excellent.
So first Haruhi gets a spinoff in Churuya-san. Now Lucky Star has a spinoff called Bu- Bu- Kagabu-. I’m not sure if I should laugh or cry.

Here We Go Again…
Overflow has announced that Cross Days will be released on November 20th. Will it will actually stand this time?
Other games with announced release dates this week:
Full Metal Daemon Muramasa – October 30th
Hikari no Vallucia – November 20th
PARA-SOL – November 20th
Shiden ~Enkan no Kizuna~ – November 26th
Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi – December 11th
Sugarcoat Freaks – December 18th
Akatsuki Works is working on a fandisk for Rui wa Tomo o Yobu. They’re asking fans what they want to see, until September 30th. Meanwhile, Haruka na Sora has been pushed back to October 23rd.
The trial version of Koiiro Sora Moyou is now up at Studio Ryokucha. The system interface is a bit interesting, but I’m worried that it might get a bit messy with all the text boxes. It doesn’t look as nice as in FairChild or Tapestry. However, I’ll still play this no matter what! Blushing Aya-tan and tsuntsun Mikoto-chan are adorable!
Chara polls have started up for Aries‘ Angel Navigate (until September 11th), ETOILES‘ HimexHime (until September 17th) and MeroMeroCute’s Mahou Shoujo no Taisetsu na Koto (until September 18th). Mikage won the Sakura Tale chara poll by a lot.
The Natsunagi dakimakura drafts can be seen at Chara@. Hitsuji *____*
The SHUFFLE! mahjong set that Navel sold at C76 will now be available via Cranberry Crown on October 30th. Note that this is not a game, but actual mahjong tiles with pictures of characters from SHUFFLE!, Tick! Tack!, Really? Really! and SHUFFLE! Memories+ on them. Excuse me while I stare at the tiles, I… uh… need to see what tiles I need to ron.
Nitro+ and 5pb combine to create XBox360 visual novel Steins;Gate, a “science novel” that occurs one year after the events in Chaos;Head. It’ll be out on October 15th.
ALTER’s 1/8 scale PVC figure of K-ON!’s Yui will be out in December for 7140 yen. The details are pretty nice.
Pangya JP recently added a new course called Eastern Valley (☆☆). It’s mostly a beginner course with wide fairways, but advanced players can get low scores with spike shot usage. Hinano has posted her first impressions of the course on her game blog.
No webclaps this week. I’m off for a few days. Be back on Sunday night.

There’s a Reason for Bug Testing
Among the August releases is FrontWing’s Time Leap Paradise and it is challenging Summer Days as the most bug-filled games ever released. Not only was the game file almost 12gb, but it was filled with bugs such as spinning cameras and some giant brown thing that might be pedobear’s cousin. You would think that they would have done more error testing and quality control after months of delays. FrontWing has since released a 713mb patch, but it’s most likely that there will be more to come.
New games announced this week are:
Abelia – Maikuro (October 30th)
ABHAR – Boku no Ikiteiru Sekai
ABHAR – Ushinawareta Mirai o Motomete (Summer 2010)
AtuWorks – Cure Mate Club (February 26th)
It seems like otome game maker (and CIRCUS sister company) Sanctuary will be announcing a fan disk for Da Capo Girls Symphony soon. More info will be out in October.
HamHamSoft’s off-the-wall Doinaka Channel 5 will be coming out on December 4th. Meanwhile, KeroQ’s Subarashiki Hibi has been pushed back almost half a year to February 26th. That’s the one with the Hiiragi twin clones.
Both Koiiro Sora Moyou and Icha Puri have added sample voices, but not the seiyuu yet. Aya’s definitely sounds like Agumi Oto. MoonStone Cherry is holding a quiz to see if you can guess the seiyuu for the six heroines.
The results for the Nega0 chara poll show Reiko as the winner! There’s a commemorative wallpaper available for download. Akari won the Dakko Shite Gyu! chara poll. She and Makurako share the wallpaper.
I forgot to mention this, but another short PV for ElectromagneticWave’s Kowarekake Orgel came out at C76 and it sure looks nice. I’m eager to see Flower’s story when it comes out at C77.
The OP for the PSP game Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Jan looks pretty nice, but I still find it funny to see a mahjong game for Higurashi.
Latest GSC nendoroids are Chiaki (with Fujioka-bear), the Vocaloid puchis and Luka (+Tako-Luka). Nendoroids are cute… which means puchi-nendoroids are even cuter… Mika-tan’s blog also has pictures of Saihate Miku!!!
There’s some interesting announcements for anime lately. First of all, huke’s Black Rock Shooter is getting an adaptation. I’m not sure about if the plot is any good, but the chara design is nice. Mahoromatic has an OVA coming out in October after 7 years! I’m curious as to what they will do after that ending… Finally, Hidamari Sketch has a 3rd season, Hidamari Sketch x☆☆☆ (Hoshimittsu).
The visual fan book for Flyable Heart will be out on September 7th. 176 pages of pink goodness.
The latest collaboration for ai sp@ce is with key’s Little Busters. Mmm, that looks quite good.
A lot of promotional events for Dream Club, including an ita-bus.
For those in need of help with girls, here’s the guidebook for you. Enjoy.

The following games now have release dates set:
Love Delation – October 23rd
Atori no Sora to Shinchuu no Tsuki – November 27th
Kurogane no Tsubasa – December 11th
Fizz’s Sakura Tale has been delayed to October 30th. It’s going to be lost in the avalanche of titles that month.
The extra scenario for Primary is now available for download! More ichaicha with Prim!
A special trial of Studio Ryokucha’s Koiiro Sora Moyou came out at C76. Make sure you get the patch off the official site before you start playing though.
The inevitable Saki mahjong game for the PSP was also announced at C76. It will be out on October 22nd. In the meantime, you can go to a special Saki cosplay mahjong cafe in Akihabara (LittleBSD). They even have a special menu. However… are there special effects?
The colored version of Wave’s figure of Taiga from Toradora! looks awesome. This 1/8 scale figure will be out in winter 2009.
Now you can untan untan too.
Natsuyume Nagisa is amazing. Go play it! Now! Hitsujiiiiiiiiiiiiii~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!

Comiket 76 and Obon Break
Due to Comiket 76 and Obon, activity among eroge makers has slowed a bit except for introducing limited Comiket merchandise. I’ve been looking at doujin games and my favorite artists’ sites lately during this downtime, as well as staring at all the goodies that I won’t be able to get… ( ´Д⊂ヽ
The official site for OVERDRIVE’s 5th project DEAR DROPS has opened! The game is promoted as a ‘Youth x Love Rock and Roll’ ADV. It seems similar to their previous work Kira Kira. The scheduled release will be in early 2010.
SOFTPAL has announced a new brand, Hearts. Most of you will probably know SOFTPAL via UnisonShift. It seems that Hearts will be focused on all-ages games.
Delays announced this week were:
Sorairo – September 18th
Nega0 – September 25th
Hachimitsu Otome blossom days – October 23rd
SkyFish is planning to make an additional route for Primary that will be appended on to the original game. It will released in late August. I can’t wait to play this! ^^
The winner of the Natsuyume Nagisa dakimakura poll is… Hitsuji! It seems the most popular outfits are seifuku, Umineko waitress outfit and Y-shirt. I’m fine with anything so long as it’s Hitsuji! Ahhhhh, I need to start Natsunagi already! >_<
Comet has started up the chara poll for their upcoming game &LOVE. It runs until August 27th, the day before the release. Ruru-chan~! >< The Pia Carrot 4 chara poll is running till September 6th. You can vote once per day.
Doujin maker Supplement Time’s latest Vocaloid inspired VN, Mirai no Uta to, Tsunagaru Hitomi, comes out at Comiket 76. It seems the whole cast comes out this time. What about Kaito end!? Well, this is great timing, since I’m just starting to play their second game Rin ga Utau, Mirai no Neiro.
Both the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha and Fate/stay night movies will premiere in theaters on January 23rd.
Windmill’s Shukufuku no Campanella has been green lit for an anime, probably in 2010. I enjoyed the adaptation of Happiness!, so I’m sure this will be nicely done too.
Nipponichi has paired up with Gust to make PS3 RPG Trinity Universe. Each studio creates a different side of the story (megami vs maou). It’s out on September 10th.
A remake of popular fighting game Higurashi Daybreak is coming out for the PSP: Higurashi Daybreak Portable Mega Edition. New characters include Satoshi, Miyoko and Okonogi. The story mode will be revamped and more special attacks and costumes added.
Get your own Etopen plush! This soft and fluffy friend from COSPA will cost 3300 yen and comes out in November.
Also since we’re on Saki, there’s a flash Mahjong game on the main site. I’ve been playing it when I’m bored. I still don’t really understand the scoring well, but I won so that’s all that matters.
I love the PV for Bakemonogatari’s ED “Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari”. I haven’t really watched the anime, but I’m glad to see that ryo/supercell has gained some attention outside of Niconico. ryo is famous for Miku songs “Melt”, “Koi wa Sensou”, “World is Mine”, “Black Rock Shooter” and “Hajimete no Koi ga Owaru Toki”.
東トナタ, the scenario writer for Purple Software, Tarte and Supplement Time, is releasing a drama CD at C76: “Animato Theatre Vol.01″. Seiyuus used are Miru, Gogyou Nazuna, Matsunagi Yuki and Ogura Yui. It sounds pretty nice.
This is a brilliant idea by COSPA: Mio rice bowl. It is part of the limited C76 K-ON! lunch set, which includes the signature bowl, a Mio mat, chopsticks (incl. holders) and… castanets. This will definitely sell.

Eden* OP Revealed
TSUKASA is the latest new company to announce their debut game: EternalSky ~Yuukyuu no Sora no Kanata~. It’s scheduled for a November 27th release. Do you believe that paper airplanes can carry one’s feelings? I like the art, especially the hair and eyes.
White Cyc’s newest game is Kurogane no Tsubasa. No webpage is up yet. CLOCKUP team.DYO has a spiffy website up for RUNE LORD.
Nounai Kanojo’s Usodere! will be coming out on November 27th. Wait, everything’s a lie!?
An interesting game coming up is Kokuhaku, which is an all-ages voice casting simulation game. It comes out on September 14th. There are four heroines in the game and you’re free to choose which seiyuu to use for each character. The seiyuu available are Noto Mamiko, Tsuji Ayumi, Horie Yui and Hirano Aya. Recognize anyone? The story itself is romance based, beginning with the title’s namesake: a confession of love. This seems quite interesting.
I only recently found out about Paradores/Aniplex’s Sora no Oto even though the site’s been up for a month. It seems like more information about this project will be announced at Comiket 76.
Mio made a late run to win the Mimi o Sumaseba chara poll. Meanwhile, the Nega0 chara poll has just started up and will last till August 21st. Voting is once per day. Either Faso or Reiko are fine.
There’s a dakimakura poll for Natsuyume Nagisa until August 9th. SAGA PLANETS has also added a form for comments about the game.
VALLEL has uploaded the OP for Nozomi Kanaetamae ~Daydream Reconstruct~. Not bad for a doujin circle. Circle 21°C will be updating their game site for Novelist o Ute -Shoot the Novelist- on August 9th. It’s most likely both games will be sold at Comiket 76.
The latest installment of the ai sp@ce collaboration series is with SkyFish’s Primary! They look nice, but… 3000 NicoNico points for the set!?
Here’s the picture of the two new chars for Citron Soft’s Imouto Smile from the poll. The twin-tailed otaku tsundere actually doesn’t look that bad. The game is scheduled for a November release.
I listened to the sample voices for Marmalade’s Kiss to Maou to Koucha… specifically Shinobu’s. There is NO way that’s a guy. All I can think of is Sakura from DC since they both use ‘boku’ and are voiced by Hokuto Minami. This is a very deep trap I’ve fallen into…
Comet is holding a pretty funny question corner for &LOVE where you can ask the characters questions. Loved the Yaya cameo XD
Big surprise: Dakko Shite Gyu! is getting dakimakura. You can get the dakimakura and the game together.
I’ve been wasting time on Natsuiro Straight’s flash game Rin Rin Emergency. Keep Tsumuji away and protect oniichan!
Everyone loves Tacos!
Finally, behold the latest masterpiece from minori! Is it just me or is Shinkai Makoto not involved?

How to Sing Like a Girl
Always wanted to sing like a girl, but can’t? Well, no problem since there’s a book to teach you how! Shuwa System has published a guidebook by Nananose called Onna no Ko no Koe ni Narou!, a female voice training book. And the 128 page book (audio CD included) is only 1890 yen! Akiba Blog has some additional info on it, along with a Niconico medley. I’d have to say some of them are pretty good so long as I don’t see any pictures.
New maker Ningyou Yuugisha will be debuting with Alice Muppet. It seems to be focused on gothloli dolls and even has a yandere chara. Heterochromia moe! light is appending another game to the Dies irae series with Dies irae ~Acta est Fabula~, which is scheduled for December. Liar Soft has also announced their newest game Hikari no Vallucia.
Release dates have been set for Hachimitsu Otome blossom days (September 25th), Osananajimi wa Daitouryou (October 30th) and airy[F]airy (November 27th). I can’t wait for more info about those two loli spaceships.
Navel’s SHUFFLE! Essence+ will use CGs from Tick! Tack! and Really? Really!. They’ve also changed the site top picture.
Aries has posted the game flow for Angel Navigate. The main thing is that there will be two types of ADV (regular and net) and they will be looped, so the heroines will talk about what happened on the net from the previous night. I’m curious what the layout for the net part will be like.
Prim finished first in the Primary chara poll, most likely due to the chibi scenes. Lime and Mintia followed her, respectively. Hina, who had placed 2nd in the first poll, dropped to 4th. In the Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai chara poll, Asuka was first, followed by Hiyoko and Naru. Shuusuke placed first among the guys.
From the mid-results of the Sakura Tale chara poll, Mikage is leading with a third of all votes. You can vote once per 6 hours until August 31st. The chara poll for Dakko Shite Gyu! is starting up and will end on August 21st (3 votes per day). I’ll be voting for Makurako.
If there’s one reason I would get an Xbox360, it would be for Bandai-Namco’s Dream Club (August 27th). More specifically for Secchan. Come to think of it… how did they let her be a host girl and drink? There’s no way she’s 20.
Navel and Media Mix Game are collaborating on a PSP game for light novel Marriage Royale, which was illustrated by Navel artists Nishimata Aoi and Suzuhira Hiro. It is scheduled for sometime in 2010.
There’s also a mahjong game for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni for the PSP (November 12th). The artwork looks a bit odd though. Also, it’d make more sense to make a die throwing game than mahjong.
A bit late, but Fate/stay night is getting a movie adaptation.
With Comiket 76 around the corner, Galge.com has started up their booth layout page. This should be pretty useful if you plan to go or just see what merchandise companies are bringing.
Kotobukiya’s mizugi version of Hayate no Gotoku!’s Katsura Hinagiku is being re-released again since we just can’t get enough of Hina.
I listened to the sample voices for Hidamari Basket. Fuurin imouto Kasuga is definitely my type! Osananajimi Mimi is fine too.
Conan O’Brien and Andy Richter try out dubbing anime. I’d watch GiTS if they did it. MANGAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!
I got a special wallpaper from YuzuSoft for supporting Tenshin Ranman. Funny thing was I couldn’t download it until I used a proxy.
The second chapter of Kagesaki Yuna’s Oniichan☆Control is out! I wish I didn’t have to wait so long between chapters >_<
