AkabeiSoft2 Group Restructuring

AkabeiSoft2 recently underwent a restructuring where many of its brands have merged into AkabeiSoft3, which has two titles coming out in the next 2 months, including JOKER on June 29th. Brands which have now closed down are Shangrila, Shangrila Smart, Applique Imouto, Akatsuki Works Black, team IT’S, team it’s mint, shallot and SperManiaX. What was the purpose of having so many different brands in the first place…
New titles announced this week include:
GigasDrop. – Project Gossip/Sick
Latte – Dainikai Imouto Senbatsu☆Sousenkyo ~366-ninme no Imouto Icharabu♥Gojitsudan~
SkyFish – Tsukumo no Kanade ~Kaketsuki no Yasoukyoku~
SofthouseChara – Mon o Mamoru Oshigoto
Release dates have been set for the following:
Supocon! – July 27th
Yomejuu! – July 27th
St. Monmusu Gakuen – August 24th
Yasashii Mahou no Tonaekata – August 31st
Zero Infinity – September 28th
The D.C. 10th Anniversary Thank You Pack, which combines D.C.II P.C. and D.C.II To You, comes out on June 28th. Check out the D.C.III charas’ comments!
Parfina wins the tightly-contested Kouyoku no Soleil chara poll and gets a commemorative wallpaper.
Little Busters! has two novel adaptations planned for this summer, one for the standard story and one for Kud. Also getting a novel adaptation is Kogado Studio’s Hakuisei Renai Shoukougun (late June). The Appare! Tenka Gomen visual fan book comes out on June 29th, while the Carnelian artworks will be on shelves July 2nd.
Nitro+’s Phantom will be ported over to the Xbox360, scheduled for October 25th.
New figures coming out include SkyTube’s 1/7 scale figure of MuvLuv Alternative Total Eclipse‘s Inia swimsuit ver. (November, ￥7800) and WAVE’s 1/10 scale figure of Persona 4‘s Rise (November, ￥3990) as part of their Beach Queens series.

Finished Sara’s route in D.C.III. The story was fine, although I didn’t really see the link to D.C.. Sara is extremely adorable though ♥ Now that I’m on Himeno’s route, things are getting a lot more interesting. What’s the link between Kazami Gakuen and Kazumidori Gakuen?

So how is Rukawa’s route per se? Got more specifics? :) Like some scene that makes you go hau omochikaeri? (Kind of surprised you didn’t put that in actually).

Micchi Pulltop’s new game is pretty good. I am digging.
there is wheelchair bishoujo and twins heroine and the setting and mood is completely copy paste from Suiheisen.

Feels like its been a long time since anything decent came out of Akabeisoft. Not sure what to think about branches like Akatsuki black closing though, they had plenty of games I enjoyed so I hope works in the similar line don’t simply vanish. Then again considering Joker’s presence, those worries are likely unneeded, doesn’t quite seem like a vn Akabeisoft2 would have released.

@Amoirsp: Sara’s route is about Sara Chrysalis, not Sara Rukawa. I haven’t finished the full game yet, so maybe there’ll be something for Sara Rukawa too. I’d like to not spoil too much. If you really want to know, ask me on IRC.
@Aaeru: It’s less of a closing down and more of a merger.
@Asheld: I’m not really having high expectations for JOKER. The setting is too convenient and the release date is a mere two months after its announcement. Unless they did a lot of work prior to the announcement, that seems not enough time to release a polished work.
